I thought this was kinda funny.
Can you imagine an American's face seeing that credit card for a purchase; if they remember seeing the Molson Canadian beer series TV commericials.

I got in the mail an advertising for:
https://www.applyonlinenow.com/CANapp/Ctl/redirect?CV_sourceCode=AZDJ&CV_language=en

"I AM CANADIAN" MBNA Canada MasterCard lol

Note:
MBNA Canada MC interest rate & fees are high.
example: for going over-limit, foreign transactions, cash advances, late fee,...

If you get an MBNA MC you might want to tell them to put you on a 'not to phone call list' with solicitations (like their balance "payment protection plan")

I don't have one of these MC (just the advertisement); I have a college Alumni MC from MBNA that the college gets some money when I spend on the card.

The Ad I have is for the I AM CANADIAN Platinum Plus (they also offer a regular 'prefered' one) MasterCard from MBNA Canada says:
No Annual fee,
introduction transfer balances from other credit cards & cash advance cheques (not counting the transaction fees) at 1.9% for 4-months,
regular interest rate of 17.99% if you carry a balance,
pay your balance in full each month by due date & no interest like a regular card (just make sure you DON'T get the balance 'payment protection plan option', it charges a $0.89 fee premium per $100 spent),
free Molson Canadian black duffel/gym bag (when you are approved & use your new card),
extended up to 1-year limited warrenty,
90-days buyer's limited insurance protection

more info on (I think for the regular 'prefered' card type): https://www.applyonlinenow.com/CANapp/disclosure.jsp

I would call MBNA Canada if you are interested to get more info or to switch type of card account.
