Happy new year guys.

I have two GA with over 300, 000km on both. They both have an issue here and there but for the km on the two they run awesome. The two door gt drives like a new car with 314,000 on it.

Looking forsome input on engine oil replacements? I always use Penziol 5w30. Seems to work well. Also i put the oversized filter on.

I was looking for any input on a better oil for these two silver bulletts. That is available in Canada.

Thanks.

The Pennzoil Platnium synthetics are excellent. Stick with the 5W30 though.

Is the synthetic ok with a engine that has never had it? Also with over 300,000km on the engine.

Oh, then don't even bother.

I've had good experience using Valvoline MaxLife 5W30.

Changing to synthetic will never hurt an engine. Doesn't matter if it's never been used in it or not. It probably won't do a lot to reduce wear at that point, but that's it. Synthetics maintain their viscosity better over a wide range of temperatures, so they still protect better, and can improve HP and gas mileage as well. In your case I would recommend a synthetic/conventional blend oil, and something formulated for high mileage and extended intervals (7-10k miles) so you get your moneys worth out of it. Something like Mobil high mileage, Castrol GTX synblend, or Penzoil gold synthetic blend or high mileage oils. Whichever you choose, just stick with the recommended 5w30 viscosity. :)

As stated above... stick with 5w30.

Syn blends will be well worth it. Mobil and Castrol are two brands I've always used and had good luck with.
