im replacing both of my fenders and the bottom mount that connects them to the frame is completly rusted and i have nothing to attach them too. anyone have any ideas on what i could do? without this part mounted the fenders will hit the doors.

sounds like you need to make a custom bracket of some sort maybe. ive never looked on my fenders exactly where im sure its not much different then my alero. but all i could think of is a homemade bracket.

I would make some brackets or replace the fenders.

posting this up for anyone else who runs into this problem. i've been through soo much trial and error with this, but i finally figured out a way the works and its pretty easy to duplicate. its basically a bolt that goes through the fender and into a coupler nut that is welded to the frame.
this is what it looks like. got a locking nut on inside to lock it in place so the bolt doesn't come loose, there will also be another in front of the coupler once i get it welded.
basically drill through the fender then position how you like and mark where its at. i marked it in permanent marker, then went over with my dremel so i could sand down to bare metal for the weld.
everything will be welded on tomorrow. and i will spray paint the area in some rustoleum.
