What engines and model year will swap with a 2002 Grand AM GT V6 Sedan with automatic transmission? What sensor modifications are needed?

Need to be more specific. Are you talking about swapping in a stock replacement engine and transmission from another year grand am? Or some other engine/trans from a different car?

Stock replacement. But, I heard some Oldsmobile engines will work.

anything with a 3400, I'm assuming you mean the alero.

You could also swap in a 3500 engine but that would be a bit more work than a straight stock swap. Search these forums & 60degreev6 forums for more details.

There are many options to choose from and it all just depends on what you're looking to achieve and get out of the swap project.

any 3400 will drop right in really.

Yeah, just about any 3400 should work. Might have to swap over some brackets or accessories from your old engine is the only possible minor thing. Same with the trans as long as it is a 4T45E. I would look for something from a 2000-2005 N-body, IE Grand Am or Alero. I think there were a few mini vans that used the 3400/4T45E combo as well like the Montana.
