Can anyone tell me what kind of gasket I need for these headers? It's needed for where the front and rear connect together. I know it's a donut style but I can't seem to find one that I think looks right. Maybe someone can point me to an actual item. Thanks

Man I wish I had a picture of mine before I sold it. I had one that was all metal and beveled on both edges. My headers ripped up two donut gaskets in 3 months. Midas is where I got it from and I would just take the header to them so they can match it up. I believe it is called a sintered metal donut gasket. They are well worth finding and you wont have to worry about leaking ever again.

I found out that the Grand Prix guys with the 3800 running TOG headers use the fel-pro 60986 gasket... It's got a 2.5" internal diameter.. It's also a sintered metal gasket as recommended above.. Hopefully they'll work in our header application as well.

Don't suppose anyone knows of an easy way to get that stupid thing seated right so it won't leak?

Yes... replace it with a v-band flange. lol That's that I did with my TOG's because I was tired of them leaking, and having so much trouble getting them connected and the cross-over lined up if I had to take them off for anything. V-bands make it so much easier.

For his, since they are already out of the car, I'd get that flare replaced with a v-band and also move the O2 bung to the bottom collector. Shouldn't cost much. Then get them ceramic coated.
