I bought a 99 GA GT 3.0 V6 in December after smacking up my 95 GA other than the accident the car ran great for 10 years,So I figured I would get a newer one, same size engine. The problem that I have is the check engine light stays on and once in a while ABS and few others come on as well.I've been reading that this is pretty common on the 99's.Why is this happening? and can it be fixed?

First of all its a 3.4 not a 3.0 :)
The check engine light is on because your car's computer is detecting a fault of some sort. Just take it to a shop and they can diagnose what the check engine light means for about $30.
As for the ABS, if its accompanied by the Service Vehicle Soon light with the Trac Off light that means the wheel speed sensor on one of the wheel hub bearing is malfunctioning.. If it's just the ABS light then you should probably go to a shop and have them scan that for you as well.
