Hey guys im wanting to custom paint my spoiler. I have a black grand am gt with red trim around it custom by me and i was thinking about spray painting my spoiler red but i didnt know if that would make the spoiler look like it was a throw back part from another car or not? gimme some ideas or if u think something would be cooler lemme know:) i wanna keep it in the black/red facinity thanks!

Maybe just the two pillars (not sure what they are called) the part that attaches to the car

The spoiler mounts? That would equal pointless... Why bring an accent to a part of the car that really shouldnt have any desire to stand out? Maybe if you just painted the sides which is the fins... then make the lip wrap around in red also? Either way I just dont think this is a good idea?

If you desperately want to do something to it maybe some pinstripping on it? and defiantly get a SC/T spoiler, so much better

Do what you you want to do to your car. Don't listen to everyone elses opinions. These forums are a lot pickier than people in real life. 414_n.jpg

the sc/t spoiler helps that out. there is a guy here in town opposite color of you, he has a red car, and did his wing black. doesn't look all that bad, but the stock wing is just so, odd shaped it makes it look funky. bad funky, not get down boogie funky.

sc/t it, paint it to match, and then maybe see about the red inlay stickers in red. that'd be about all the red you'd want, little bit here and there to break up the red.

or spray bomb half the car green, hell who cares, it's your car lol
