How many 1/2 turns in for the left and right tie rod ends to make the front end alligned??
2001 Grand Am Gt, 3.4v6, Coupe :gagreen:

lol um, there is no set number. There is an inner and outter rod end, and they can be turned on different amounts... so the opposite side has to be adjusted accordingly. If you take an old one off, you can count how many rotations it takes to get it off, and put the new one on the same number of rotations and that will get you close. The only way to really align it though is to put it on an alignment rack.

There isn't a set number. There is variation in the parts that would influence the amount of turns. If you want a quick DIY alignment there are a few ways to do so with some string a ruler and some jack stands. It will get you in the ball park but is not a substitute for a pro job.

Like said above you can get it close but you will ruin your tires if you don't get an actual alignment as soon as possible.
