Would a cam of these specs be to aggressive for a daily driver? It's comparable to a strip cam I believe. .539/.517 lift w/ 1.6 rockers, 277/269 advance duration, 220/212 (@.050) duration, 112 LSA, 109 ICL

See my sig for supporting mods that are completed already.

Quick note on duration in cam specs.. the first duration spec is the "advertised" duration..i.e...total degrees of lobe on the cam. The second lobe duration is degrees of lobe from initial .05 of opening valve lift to .05 of lift at closing.

others are more qualified to tell you what this cam will do in this engine. I am just making a correction in the terminolgy you are using. But that looks to me with that much lift with modest duration it may well be a cam for a boosted engine.

You have the lift and advertised duration numbers backwards, I think.
That is WOT's old 1280 grind, right?
Intake lift is .517"; exhaust lift is .539" (with 1.6:1 rockers).
Advertised intake duration is 269 degrees; advertised exhaust duration is 277 degrees.
I have that cam installed in my car.
It's very mild, with a very slight lope.
My car idles around 900rpm with that cam.
You'll need larger injectors and a freshened tune.
It's a bit weak below 2500rpm or so, but then pulls strong for the rest of the rpm range.
Mine makes peak power right at 6000rpm.
It's fine for a daily driver; my car made 194WHP/196WTQ on a Mustang Dyno with this cam (breathing through a factory airbox).

Well my ignorance on the cam cost me a good deal. Someone else snatched it up before I could confirm to pay. Thanks for the help guys. Guess I'll be paying out the ass for one when I decide to put one in my car.
