Does anyone know where to connect the horn plug in the front right fender on a 2000 Grand AM?

The plug that connects to the horn.

It shouldn't be that hard. There is only one plug coming off the horns and it only fits that plug.

Did you change out the horns or something? The factory horns come with a short harness hooked to them with a plug on it that attaches to the wire harness on the car. If you get a replacement horn from GM, it's not the exact ones used on your car from the factory. It's a universal replacement horn that is used on several cars, and it doesn't come with the same wire leads on it. The horn package should come with a bag of parts for wiring and mounting. It has a wire lead that clips to the back of the horns, and you have to cut the plug off your wire harness and crimp that wire lead to it.

Yeah, that doesn't have anything to do with the horns. That's what threw me off. The horn plug is inside the fender behind the headlight. Not in the engine bay. That looks to me like the plug for the coolant level sensor. It should be plugged into the bottom of the coolant reservoir.

There is already a wire plugged in the bottom of the coolant reservoir, is there supposed to be 2 plugged there?

Some GAs have this plug not plugged into anything for some reason... I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Hmm, my car doesn't have that, and I've never seen it on another car before. That's why I figured it was the coolant sensor. I wonder... maybe it's supposed to be for the air pump on CA/NY emissions cars? I haven't seen one of those cars with the air injection system up close. It wouldn't be unheard of if they had extra wiring harnesses for those cars that they needed to use up and just put in a non-air injection car.

That's weird man.. I've seen that exact plug not connected on a GA before and I thought nothing of it, but I saw it on the LD9, not the LA1.

It might be a different plug that you saw, or maybe the owner unplugged it for some reason?

Yeah, that didn't look like the horn plug to me. Also I don't think the horn wires run through the engine bay. Pretty sure they are in the harness with the head light wires that runs into the fender on the front right corner and behind the header panel.
