Are there any good aftermarket upper intake manifolds? Would using a camaro upper intake manifold make for power?

As in a completely aftermarket manufactured manifold, like the FAST LSx manifolds? No. There are only factory cast manifolds. You can get ported stock parts from companies like WOT-tech and Milzy Motorsports. You can't use a camaro UIM (or anything for that matter) on your engine though. Other than the fact they are both 60 degree V6's, our engine and the new camaro engine share basically nothing.

oh, I that I read that camaro 3.4 intake manifold was interchangeable. Good place to find a stock 3.4L UIM other than e-bay?

The only camaro that ever had a 3.4 was the 4th gen from 93-95. It was a gen2 motor as well (ours is gen3) and made less power and torque. I doubt it's interchangeable but even if it was, it would be a step back in design and power, so there's no reason why you'd want to use it.

I seen a guy with a 3.4L in a drag car he custom made a lower and upper intake. I'll see if I can find the pix

Ive seen pics of people who started to make custom uim...but none finished. There is hp to be had in a nonboosted with more plenum volume...no doubt. even the boosted guys would prob make more power at topend with more...but the % of gain would be way less.
