I got a K&N air filter for my 2003 grand am SE2 a while back, however I recently got a CatBack Exhaust system installed on my GA and I heard that the CAI (Cold Air Intake) makes for a better over all sound and a slight performance increase.

My question is, where can I find a good CAI that will work with my Grand Am SE2? Also will it work with my K&N by any chance?

I know that customgrandam.com offers a CAI that comes with a K&N. I plan on getting my CAI from them. I do believe they sell them for the SE model as well.

Most CAI's will not work with stock panel filters.

Several years ago I got a CAI from www.mpracing.org but I dont know what the current status on them is. There was problems with getting product last I heard.

yeah I've heard to avoid mpracing. A lot of people don't get there stuff or it takes forever. I haven't had any problems with customgrandam.

There are more on ebay as well. You just have to do some looking, check out prices, see what kind of filter they come with etc, and check seller ratings to decide which one is going to be the best deal.

If the K&N filter you bought was a panel filter for the stock air box, then no it won't work with a CAI.

Definitely do not even think of buying anything from MP racing. They are not reliable or trust worthy anymore.

That's sad to hear. I had such great luck with Mark back in the day, and I stuck up for MP Racing for quite a while before I got out of the game.
