im actually looking into getting these.

http://www.tunersdepot.com/Lighting/Head-Lights-Assembly/KS--CCFL-Halo-Projector-Headlights--Black----99-05-Pontiac-Grand-Am-96415.html

my question is, are these aftermarket halo lights just as bright or even brighter than stock? or are they dim? i searched around and couldnt find a answer. i just want to make sure i know what im getting myself into.

$273 is so overpriced for those. Look on eBay if you want a set.

I don't know how that set is for the daytime because I have a different set, since its CCFL halos they should be seeable during the days because CCFL halos are brighter and have more concentrated light around the halo ring then LED halos which are on the other sets of headlights. The set you are looking at is the only one with CCFLs but you can still find them on eBay.

I can see my LED halos when it starts going into night(dusk). Then of course you can see them at night. You can see my actual LEDs on the side pretty much anytime of the day, the only time I turn my parking lights(fogs, halos, leds) on is either when its overcast(so all you see is my LEDs and not halos because it looks kinda cool when you can only see the LEDs on the side.) or when its dusk.

I've also been wondering the same thing because my halos aren't noticeable at the day and I got them from ebay. I want my halos to stick out in the day like the newer BMWs do, so should I look into CCFL halo headlights?
Also check out these people, they have many styles of halos for under 200. I'm thinking of getting the black ones without the small, stupid LED lights on the side. They look alot cleaner without them IMO...

If your wanting the BMW halo daytime look go with CCFL halos, they have a more concentrated light around the ring unlike LED halos that just have 1 LED lighting them up.

You can either get those CCFL halo projectors or do something like GA_mayne did and replaced his LED halo with CCFL halos.

carid sells the exact same product they just overprice it compared to eBay.

GA_mayne got some separate CCFL halos and took his old LED ones out then put these in.

I'll take the easy route and just buy a new pair with CCFLs from eBay and sell my current ones for a decent price to somebody lol
