get if I just got the heads done (ie: through SA)? Instead of paying the extra cost of the ported upper and lower mani's and all of the extra labor costs, I was thinking of getting the stage II heads done and nothing else....

Maybe 15HP. You need to take the upper and lower manifolds off to do the heads anyway, so why not just save a bit longer and do everything at once? If I'd been smart, that's how I would've done it.
