Just curious.... I know it goes into the acordian hose, but where do the wires lead to? Can you replace the whole sensor instead of buying just a connector and attatching a new one to the existing wires? I looked up iat but its just a connector with about 5 inches of wire so you have to cut the old off and connect the wires to the new connector.

Rockauto has like 6+ sensors that simply swap out no cutting or splicing wires.

The IAT sensor it just a sensor with a socket on it. It's stuck in the rubber bellows tube between the MAF and the throttle body. It's a resistance type sensor and there is a two wire plug on the wire harness that plugs into that socket. That connector with the 5" wire lead on it you are talking about is just a replacement plug for the IAT plug on the harness. It's not the sensor itself and it's not going into the harness to the sensor. It's coming from the sensor and the wires go to the PCM.

Aaron can you get a wiring diagram for it?

ahem, what are you trying to do with it??????
the 2 wires are there to measure resistance, like Aaron said. there isn't a positive or ground wire. so why do you need a wire diagram???

Aaron can you get a wiring diagram for it?

I have a full service manual with all the wiring diagrams. Why do you need it though?

Wait ok im not confused now, the iat wires go all the way to pcm?

I was curious because i was thinking about replacing the whole thing instead of cut my wires and throw a new pig tail on it.
