I finally replaced all brake lines on my car.... what is a good 1 man brake bleeder kit? I'd be willing to pay upwards of $60..

is this any good? http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_vacuum-pump-brake-bleeder-kit-sunpro_9020007-p?searchTerm=bleed+brakes

also, how do i bleed the brakes with this, or similar kits? i always did the two man method but no one will be home tomorrow to help.. thanks!

we have one we've used at my buddy's, it's pretty straight forward, attach a line atop the bleeder, make sure the res. is full, and start squeezing the handle, draws it right on through, so watch out that you don't run the res empty, cause that's bad.... mmmkay?

also, do i bleed the brake lines from one wheel or on all wheels when using the one man bleeder kits?

You'll have to go wheel to wheel, it's not really a lot slower than using two people, plus you don't have to open and close and open and close the bleeder to actually do it, leave it open until you're satisfied it's good, then close it. it's a simple but slick little system

Step 1: Cut hole in lid of 20oz (empty and clean) soft drink container
Step 2: Put lid on container, fill partially with fresh brake fluid
Step 3: attach line from bleeder to inside drink container making sure line is submerged in brake fluid
Step 4: Open bleeder line, pump brakes, make sure master cylinder doesn't go dry.
Step 5: When there is no contaminated fluid or air coming out, that corner is bled, secure bleeder.

Grand Am 5th Gen's with ABS get bled in this order: Right Rear, Left Front, Left Rear, Right Front.

Non ABS you will bleed from the corner furthest from master cylinder then closer etc etc.
