if it's in Lansing MI? nope. i'm not even gonna drive to the states :)..... and when everyone else goes out to +21 area, where would i and others go?... i don't think it would be that great at ngiht time if you are sub 21 age.. i mean, if they had it in a Dakota state i'd go... but to drive to Lansing and not do anything at night time..... i wish i would go... dam 21.

Sorry to hear you won't be coming. :( I think you should know that pretty much everyone hangs out together (usually at the hotel), regardless of age. There can be some moments of drunken rowdiness, but overall everyone tries to keep their cool so Jer and Ryan look good. It wouldn't be good if everyone had hangovers for Track day now would it? Or we all got kicked out and were sleeping in our cars. lol I think you should reconsider coming if all that keeps you away is your age. We're not all drunks. Besides if it's that big a deal to you I'll make you an ID;)

Back to the topic at hand, BRING ON THE CANADIANS, EH! I almost forgot what this thread was aboot. I look forward to seeing you all.

ehh, it's not all the fact of my age, it's the fact that wherever GAP is being held i don't wanna drive or get accompanied THATTTTT far..... how long is it anyway? Friday Sat Sun?..... or is it a weeek in the summer time or spring break? i know nothing of GAP02 even... but the reason im not going is cuz it's so far basically.

its usually the end of july i think, and all the things usually go on within the hotel rooms so no need to worry about being 21+

United States seems like the scariest place on Earth to live in right now, I'll stay out of trouble and stay home.

I'm interested in going, but only for the picnic and probably an overnight stay till Sunday...... only prob is, becuase I can't be there long, unless an arrangement can be made to not register, i may not be able to afford it...... you all know how it is..... gas, plus the hotel, registration..... by the time you add it up, and convert the funds to American, $300 bucks down the tube in no time....

Being 17, you can't drive across the border. You'd hafta be accompanied by an adult.

As for myself, I won't be going. Too many things to save up for.

Yes, I am in Chatham. There also might be a few other Grand Ams convoying. A few of us from our club might convoy down there. You are more then welcome to join in. Check us out for more info.

Looks like we will have a convoy going from the GTA.. Usual meet up spot (also people coming from Buffalo and hamilton areas) is the rest stop on the 401 right after the 403 merge. Its a good central location to meet. We can pick ya up going through London.

I'd go, but that's alot of km to put on my car. Too bad cause I'm sure people would drool over it. Oh well.

what do you have done to your ride?

I have a 1999 Grand Am SE Coupe that is Auburn Mist Metallic. This color changes colors from copper to purple and was only available on 1999 SE's. I bought it fully loaded including the V6, sunroof, and 16" rims. I now have the GT bumpers, and side mouldings on it. As far as the body, there are a bunch of other miscellaneous things like painted mirrors, and a mixture of GT black and SE chrome. Other mods include a Borla exhaust, a body-colored painted interior, and other miscellaneous crap.

It's one of a kind. Since this color wasn't on GT's and the color is rare enough, you won't see any other cars like mine. I put together a page outlining all the details. I just have to take some pictures and I'll post in the Member's Rides section.
