Any NASCAR Fans out there?

I was untill 2 years ago today (2-18-2001) The day that Dale Sr. Died :crying:

I can remember first watching him when i was like 5 or 6 watching that black #3 coming through the field.

He was my hero (hence the screen name)
Dale Earnhardt is a 7 time Champ

Anyways, i still watch sometimes and always Pull for DEI and RCR. I just hope those 2 teams can win everthing

As you can see by my current avatar...Harvick and Jr are my top 2 faves but I also like Tony Stewart, Michael Waltrip & Ryan Newman :D I have season tickets to the 2 races at MI Speedway...hopefully one of these days I'll get to meet Kevin ;)

Can I get a Boogity Boogity Boogity! Gotta love those good ol boy Fox announcers! Pretty much like all the racers except Robby Gordon and Sterling Marlin (since the Daytonna incident last year WTF???) I'd watch simply for the NASCAR commercials. Nothing like seeing them in person though, it's pure adrenaline!

I feel the same way Dalesa7xchamp! I have been unable to watch a race since the tragedy 2 years ago. I go for Dale Jr. and DEI, but I don't find the races as exciting as they used to be. Dale Earnhardt was my hero, and I too remember watching him race when I was 5 years old. I still have all of my Dale Earnhardt memorabilia, and I never intend to sell it. He's the reason I race today in the summertime at the Rockford Speedway. Maybe someday Dale Jr. will be a 7 time champion! I can only hope.

hey nikki, i got season tickets too, and last August me and my buddy's were walking thru the trailers during the second half of qualifing. (if you remember there was rain in the middle of qualifing). at a keven havick trailer back in the corner there was kevin just sitting there watching the rest of qualifing. we talked with him for about an hour. really cool guy. of course i had to buy a car and have him sign it.

mine are at the start of pit road real high. sucks wlaking up there after drinking all friday and saturday. we stay in the cabella's camp ground.

Yeah it does lol....we may be close then, all I know is that the last race we were right across from Jimmy Johnson's pit. I'm gonna have to stay and party this year :D

Umm...addicted to crack before NASCAR :p Not the biggest fan of it...ill pay attention a little here and there...but I've never been to a race yet. So I can't knock it till I tried it :) I'm looking foward to it though :) Can't pass up free tickets :) :D

am I the only one here to have been in the pits at MIS? got to meet Schrader, Martin and Lance Hooper at the Busch qualifing in '98, and I was about 2 feet away from Jr. That was the day before Dale Sr. lost his oil pump at the end of pit lane, I've got a photo album from that weekend, real cool stuff! and if any of you happen to put together the fact that I was only 14 (?) at the time and you had to be 18 to get in the pits, well, they didn't seem to notice :)
