Optilux / Hella Angel Eye 2500 Fog lights
This exceptional light will make any vehicle stand out from the crowd. LED lighting surrounds the main beam for a cool blue glow. Heavy duty die-cast aluminum housing and advanced multi-surface reflector. SAE & ECE compliant; H3 55W halogen bulb. Comes with pre-assembled wiring harness for quick installation. A perfect replacement for your factory fog lights which have poor light output. With a separate switch (not included) you can wire up the "Angel Eyes" portion of the light to turn on and off separately from the main bulb.

Guru beat me to it. We also have Sylvania Silverstars in stock (contrary to a few reports I've seen on this board most people really like them a lot).
Soon we'll be carrying a full line of AE77 wheels in 17" and 18" sizes in polished and chrome. Check out our "What's New" section for other new stuff.
We also have a bunch of sales going on that are new - be sure to check those out as well.
:)

Can't find anything on hellausa.com, see what you can find... If they make driving light versions, I'm in :)
Just FYI for everyone switching from blazer 3200s... these Hella will be more like 2200s most likely

Over at clubgp they are reporting a better beam pattern, with much better coverage and distance, than Blazertechs. Ill be plugging my 85 watt piaa's into mine though (already sitting in my room waiting to be installed). Ill be wiring the halo to my parking light switch as well, dont want any pesky new switches taking up space.

Well Dave if you are talking about fogs vs. driving lights, then yeah, they will light up more. Just like flood light vs. spot light.

oh man.. guys I've had the lights on for almost a week now..
they kick major butt. the angel eyes are great when you're just cruising the strip...
The fogs are freakin bright ,,, they seriously overwhealm my headlamps. well pretty close anyway.. I pretty much see more than I ever thought I would see. Definately a great addition right before the trip to California.. :)
I think they're better than the Blazertechs. the pattern is crazy good..

Thats what I meant Seth. Ive heard it similar to a driving beam pattern, only a bit wider. Not as "squished" as fog pattern though.

so is it possible to install these things on the stock bracket without sawing or drilling or whatever, or can you use a bracket if it's provided without customizing it?

is it possible to use the blazertech relay and wiring, and just switch out the lenses? i doubt it but worth a shot.

I will still be wiring the angel eyes to my parking lights, seems easier to me. But that is certainly a good way to go about it.

You never know what Hella might do in the future. Red could be DOT illegal though.

In the front of the car technically you are only supposed to have amber or white...
But if you want to see what they look like, got a lil project goin on here
