What can I do to make my car faster, and as cheap as I can go, because I don't have a big income.

Thanks

"Fast" and "cheap" generally don't go in the same sentence. That said, most performance modifications for the 3400 V6 can also be applied to your 3100. You can also strip any unnecessary weight from your car (this can be as simple as removing a large subwoofer box, or as complex as stripping your interior and ditching your power steering and A/C - you decide how much or little you can live with). Be sure to check out GA Upgrades (http://www.gaupgrades.net) for suggestions and reviews of some things that are available.

Thats what I was thinking. Isn't "fast and cheap" and oxymoron? To go fast costs $$$. I personally was thinking that you could sell your car and buy something that is already fast. Preferably something with 8 cylinders. That would be the cheapest way to go fast(er).

I have already thought of that though. Considering that I still live with my parents, and aren't even out of school they have a little bit of control over me and after my last vehicle they banned me from getting another v8. I had a 83 mustang, totally tricked out and it got me pulled over 12 times and 5 tickets before the age of 17. At first when I was looking for a different car they were saying that I could only have a 4 banger, but then my mom stepped in and said that I could have a v8 and if I got any more tickets I would be shooting my self in the foot, so I was about to get a 85 camaro 305tpi, but my step dad nixxed that idea. And then when I was looking at a 95 bonneville ssei(3.8 liter supercharged) he told me I couldn't even have that because of the supercharger and it was the same price as the ga. You know sometimes I don't get them. I guess I will deal with what I have now until I move out.

not to be rude, but pardon me? you don't get them? you got pulled over 12 times before you were 17. you're obviously prone to showing off a little bit in a vehicle with some power, so they're looking out for your best interests.
to answer your question, you could go with a cold air intake and an exhaust. if you feel comfortable doing some porting work yourself, you could do a simple gasket-match job on the upper and lower intake manifolds and the heads, as well as some work on the throttle body (not too sure on the methods of porting the tb). good luck.
