It looks sweet but the weather in Conn. sucks so I think it would be wise to take them off until the roads clear up. I sell rims for a living so I can put them on whenever or just try a different set.
How much does a 19x8 chrome wheel weigh with rubber??wtf My guess is about 40 lbs. any other guesses?
edit: I had 18s with 35 series tires In 2 months I had pressure blisters on all 4 tires.....Mich. roads will eat 19s for breakfast.

I'm suprised these things fit with no modification. My 18x7.5's in the back (only on 235's!) are SO close to the strut piece.
edit: oops, now the #'s are correct
I should have done what you did Doc- 17s in the front...18s in the back....nice! especially with 235s are they 225 or 235 in the front?

I'm not sure if I am correct, but didn't AEDs show car (back in the day when they were only making the kit for 99+ GAs) have 20" rims on it??
I don't know if they had to do any modifications, but I remember something about it being on 20" rims and having Eibach springs.
Might be wrong, may be some one will either correct me or give more info.
With the show cars they take the fenderlining out to fit 20s...but in MI you don't want all that crap spraying up in there.

I am running 225's up front on 17x7's. 225 is a wide tire for our stock rims (6.5) and it sits flush with the wheel on the 7" width

I've had 20x8.5 Kruz Alps with 245/35zr18 Toyos on as well as 18x8.5 Konig Imagine's with 245/40zr18s.As long as you have the correct offset there are a ton of wheels that fit the car and my car was dropped with all those wheels. The only time I had a problem was when I turned lock to lock pulling out of a driveway with the 20's
