Same old song!!! any help???

Well i juz got the call from the shop.
Intake manifold gasket is leaking.
FUKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

and i also have 2 blown out powersteering hoses.


They want like 550 to fix the intake manifold gasket.
and like 300 to replace the powersteering hoses.

The powersteering hoses, i would assume i could fix myself, it usually ain't too hard to replace a couplea hoses.

but the intake mani gasket, i dunno if i have the know how to fix this one.
Does anyone on here know anything about tearing down an engine, and wanna make some money. I'll pay and give u a place to stay for a couplea days. C'mon guys i'm stuck right now and can't afford to pay a garage, help ole' ski out.

Sorry to hear that man....

Not positive, but I believe when my lower intake went twice (both times) it only cost me $350...though it was under warranty so I didn't have to pay. I'd go look up the bill but since it's in my car and I don't have my car yet, I can't say for sure.

Might want to "shop" around and see if you can get any better deals...I'm pretty sure it wasn't that much for me to get mine fixed had I had to pay for it. Cuz I even asked the guy what the price was if I had to pay for it and he said it was the same price as on the bill.

so i made an appointment there for next week
