    Do you mean you put the LT4 lifter springs in your lifters? I have never heard of anyone having problems with them. Possibly they were put back together wrong? Although that would be hard to do. My question is, why did you install them? They aren't really needed unless you are running a big cam with much stiffer springs and higher rpm than stock.

    ok so I just got my car finished I turned it over started right up it blew out an oil cam plugI pulled motor fixed it it is back together now it won't start it starts up and shuts right off I have 60 pound injectors phase 2 camls1lifter springs ls6 valve springs 30 over 65 millimeters throttle body the only way I can keep this thing running is with the pedal halfway in it will not accelerate to over a thousand rpm even with the gas pedal all the way in it still doesn't go over a thousand rpm car is running like s*** any suggestions on what could be wrong 2001 Grand Am 3400 motor blowing white smoke out of the intake when car shuts off I know the lifters are not prime do yet don't know whether it's my coil packs coil ignition TPS seems like it dumping to much fuel but feel pressure is at 55 psi or could it just be from not having oil pressure yet any suggestions

    I have no idea. I've never bothered to upgrade my alternator as it puts out plenty of power for most peoples needs. To the best of my knowledge though, those who have upgraded alternators, they have used the same size pulley and did not need to change the belt.
