I was actually tossing around the idea of getting a Mustang GT when I bought my GA. There were a couple reasons I didn't.

1. A Stang GT was about $2,500 more.
2. I didn't feel like driving another RWD sports cars in the snow.
3. I drove pretty far to and from work at the time and didn't feel like spending the money on gas.
4. GM had better incentives and discounts.

All very valid points.

i'll say it again
v6 mustangs < v6 grand am gt's and se's
v8 mustangs > v6/i4 grand am's
ford < pontiac
cobra/saleen > mustang gt's
supercharged and lightly modded grand ams can hang with cobra's... so... the mustangs dont have all that much on grand ams... other then 2 more cylinders which are null and void when both cars are supercharged...

nothing against mustangs - just the owners ;)

obviously so if the GAGT is the same price as a mustang V8.
