yea $20 and your will look goofy now

Hodge 03-21-2005 02:48 PM

you can do it yourself it's pretty easy. well i'm just gonna keep mine going and if i get a ticket i will go through the trouble to get it on my license. I've heard the same story and whatever u do don't roll down BOTH windows just yours and when he is walking up have your hands on the steering wheel with ur light on and he may let you off. just depends who the state trooper is. Steve - just wait until summer to get them re-done because u have ur windows down all the time anyways or atleast i do

notsoaveragej0e 03-21-2005 05:51 PM

steve likes to smoke weed and clam in his car with all the windows up in the summer , so i think that idea is out, hodge...

Hodge 03-21-2005 07:50 PM

hahah

DaytonaPrixMI 03-21-2005 09:02 PM

Hodge, you will need to get a doctors note stating a serious eye conditioin, that will then be double checked at the SOS I believe, they will then take your note and ship it off to Lansing and then approve it there. However they are NOT approving many, only those with real problems. As for your parents cars, if they get pulled over with tint its tough luck for them even though you drive it that won't change a thing.

ndprunner22, that really sucks with the state trooper, they are all a$$ holes. As for the rollign your windows down, I have always rolled both down, just so its easier to see inside, and because I never know what side the officer is going to come up on. I have had them come up on both. Best thing to do is roll both down or watch for the side he comes up on, if it is night turn on all interior lights. And then you know hands on the wheel and that deal. Most cops won't get mad abotu both windows down, they usually feel safer like that.

ndprunner22 03-22-2005 12:04 PM

thanks for the tips
turns out the ticket is non waivable in 52nd 3 district under some new law
o im am going to court on it and im gonna get them taken off then

for the record i dont smoke weed but joe does like speedballs

Hodge 03-27-2005 01:29 PM

well today i did the eyebrows on the headlights, i ****ed up on one side and did pretty good on the other only like 3 small imperfections. you can't be perfect or atleast i told myself that. hopefully a sign shop will have some black vinyl that i can do tomorrow. it was a good expirence, and i already love the look so when i get it done i'll have to get some updated pictures one of these days. it was def an expirence and i'm still not done yet haha...

ohh... the headlight retainer clips or whatever the **** their called, are THE ****tiest design ever. **** EM

rap219 03-27-2005 07:40 PM

I'll agree with ya on the retainers. I hate em too

notsoaveragej0e 04-09-2005 03:24 PM

grrr... i came out of school the other day to be welcomed by a nice 7 inch scratch on my rear bumper due to someone hitting me either backing out or pulling in... so thats cool.
ive gotten more dings and dents on my car from a$$holes hitting me at school than anywhere else!

Hodge 04-09-2005 08:03 PM
