yes it is ... but this is michigan and its winter. im also in the same boat as nikki. but even without all the stuff on my car it plows.

lol dont know if itll last for long. lately ive been getting low coolant lights on and off at random times on my trips to holly. LIM leak? if not ... well then my coolant is just low heh. its not my car either so i dont always have it at my disposal.

Yeah I'm about to buy myself a beater cuz I may take another job back Downtown Detroit and am not about to be driving/parking my car there again!!! (Horrible, tight, parking spots!)

my car isnt looking too great either i had a little accident a couple weeks ago.

im in no rush to buy a beater yet. im going to drain the van of all its miles. next winter im going to be away at college and freshman arent allowed to bring their cars so i dont need anything. winter after next ill be looking into one to take up to state.

just FYI ndprunner i was accepted to GVSU within a week of applying ... that right there proves the qualifications you need to get into such a private school :rolleyes:

like jason said ... there is no way that gvsu is the top school in computer science in the united states. MIT and Lawrence Tech are two i can think of off the top of my head that can be better than GVSU ... and im sure their are other schools in other states that are better.

the way U of M, first in the nation in business ;) , does applications these days it seems more and more private in a technical sense. but i guess GVSU is better than them right? or even michigan state for that matter. :rolleyes:

umm being a computer science grad and now in business school at U of M... GVSU is NOT the 3rd best school in the country in computer science... might not even be 3rd best in the state... I mean look at it, theres MIT for one, Purdue is up there, U of M, Cal - Berkley, USC, Georgia Tech, the list goes on. I seriously doubt GVSU is even 3rd best in the state - is it a good school, sure - but it doesn't have the 3rd best CS program in the nation let alone the state... I can name about 4 other schools in the state that probably have better CS programs, U of M, MSU, Western, Michigan Tech.. hell maybe even Central.

thanks for the back-up. i dont know about cs too much so i dont know who is good and who isnt. i know gvsu is a tiny school and probably doesnt rank anywhere near the top in anything. no offense to anyone on here.
