OK guys its official the Jets are footballs biggest disappointment. To blow two game winning fieldgoals granted they where long in the ending minutes is just disgusting. Now to say it is unfair to jump on Brian for his crap kicks, I will back up the fact I say he chocked. I was at the Jets Pats game after Christmas, and before the game saw Brian make field goals of 50 and 55 yards with fairly decent ease, so he is capable of making the kick. The jets need to get a kicker who can make those big kicks. With that said GO PATS 2005 Super Bowl Champs, its gonna be back to back. I am confindent but hey I got the right too they havent played yet. LOL

Don't blame it on the kicker...blame it on herm edwards...he kneeled on the ball on that first field goal....thus causing the jets to lose one yard....that extra yard and it would've bounced right through :violin

yeah we mentioned that and i totally agree with joker (wow!) plus pennington had a touchdown bomb if he can just learn how to lead recievers to the inside shoulder where no coverage is!

plus they arent a dissapointment because they barely made the playoffs and werent supposed to win a single game when they did make it

wasn't it the second field goal attempt that they kneeled down. It didn't matter anyways cause he missed wide on that one.

99GApunk 01-16-2005 01:23 AM

the kneel was on the last play of the game, stupid call because it kept the ball spotted on the left has, he ended up missing it wide left

eric99gt 01-16-2005 02:22 PM

so much for the eagles being rusty. No offense without TO??? Ha. GO EAGLES

RAZE 01-16-2005 02:59 PM

Great defense by the Eagles!! Even if Randy Moss was healthy, I don't believe the Vikings would have had a chance anyway. Culpepper had very little time to get rid of the football all game, even in the final minutes of the 4th quarter!

eric99gt 01-16-2005 03:02 PM

that's what i was most surprised by. The defense played great this game. Granted Moss was a bit hurt, but it's still dauntes team. Either way here we come Vick. PLEASE OH PLEASE LET THIS BE THE YEAR WE GET PAST THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. lol

bryan1727 01-16-2005 05:38 PM

You would think people would stop going against the patriots. i guess no ones gonna learn. wooo go pats!!!

99GApunk 01-16-2005 05:45 PM

manning cant be stopped, best offense ever, patriots secondary is too beat up, manning wont choke this year :erika:  :metal: owned:

lol

bryan1727 01-16-2005 05:55 PM

hahaha great day to be a pats fan. peyton who? once again, all the critics are shut up

GregFarz78 01-16-2005 06:29 PM

To all the eagles haters who said they wont play well since all the starters havent played in 3 weeks...what do you have to say now? :)

Like I said before the colts had no chance...peyton manning is the new dan marino great in the regular season and chokes in the playoffs lol

bryan1727 01-16-2005 07:31 PM

hahaha did you hear boomer say that peyton is the next marino, while sitting right next to marino. marino looked ****ed

GregFarz78 01-16-2005 07:57 PM

lol that was funny as hell marino got all defensive saying hey I made it to the superbowl once...no one remembers second place winners

elim 01-16-2005 08:11 PM

man the vikings royally choked that game up (what's new, eh?). they could've easily stayed in the game or won, but they absolutely failed to make the crucial must have plays when they came. not to mention the eagle's D was punishing (i really like watching them). but, i'm glad the eagles won because i think it makes a better game in the NFC championship.

and what's with the colts? they do this every year. they fly high all season and get to the playoffs and go conservative running 2/3 of the plays and get 3 and outs all over the place? how retarded.

either way, i'm glad the patriots and eagles won, because i think it makes for better games in the championship games.

oh, and dan marino is still the best quarterback the league has ever had, super bowl ring or not.

eric99gt 01-16-2005 08:13 PM

ah come on...they didn't choke. The Eagles outright beat them. They man-handled their offense. The Eagles marched up and down the field most of the day. GO EAGLES.

well, that's because you're an eagles fan and you are only looking at it that way ;) j/k. but yeah, i'm not saying the eagles didn't put a hurting on them, i'm saying the vikings choked when they absolutely had to make the plays.

1.) claiborne's retarded fumble recovery botch.
2.) #27 botched interception in the end zone that was in his hands.
3.) their fake field goal botch that would've scored easily.
4.) i know it doesn't really count, but the lucky fumble recovery by mitchell, too.

just the little things that if they could've executed, would've stopped drives that the eagles eventually ended up scoring on...but that's life.

but you're right, the vikings D absolutely blows and mcnabb was picking them apart all day. i can only remember him having to scramble one time the whole game. they pretty much embarassed the vikings, but the vikings didn't help themselves, either.

in the end, i'm glad the eagles won...i think atlanta's D will be a good test for the eagles (or at least better than the vikings, seeing as how atlanta will have somebody to cover westbrook at least).

eric99gt 01-16-2005 08:43 PM

Ok Ok. They did have some missed opportunities. But so did the Eagles. I never go by what ifs because it only hurts ya more when your team loses.

99GApunk 01-16-2005 10:54 PM

you guys see how ****ed marino and boomer were? shannon sharpe was saying it was mannings loss, he didnt lead his team, didnt make plays happen (i sort of agree) marino and boomer were trying to stick up for the QB (i wonder why haha) and shannon just wouldnt let them speak hahaha

at least i got one pick right this week, and made my money back from all the other losses

edit: was reading and found this "Manning is now 0-7 in Foxboro. Brady is 7-0 in the postseason." :metal: mvp doesnt mean anything if it doesnt carry over, i think thats something we can all agree on.... one more thing, why is the east coast absolutely kicking ass in football?
