Looks good but not really a fan of it on the green. Maybe the lights with the green overlay would look better. Still better then stock though...

Ajaxus 09-04-2005 01:40 PM

well ive heard that the green overlay isnt an exact match, its actually nowhere close. something to do with how the paint is mixed to produce this green. but it looks alot better irl. these pictures dont do them justice.

chill out man, what they're sayin is nothin compared to some dude ive been dealin with for the last few days on another car forum. :hang:

CUSTOMGAGT2000SEDAN 09-04-2005 01:52 PM

my appologise ajaxus and to other well meaning users. just that this crap has no business being on this well constructed website. nor do guys and girls need to bashed so hard or much. simply just leave it out right. i take this stuff very personnally and deal with in a fews ways fast.

Ajaxus 09-04-2005 02:01 PM

no worries man, some people handle **** better than others. ive gotten used to it because my job involves working with homeless and drug junkies. dealing with crap is my business, so i dont take too much offense....except for that one dude that i pm'd ya about..

DrFabulous 09-04-2005 02:11 PM

AJ, I like the look on the green. I know what it's like not having overlays that perfectly match, but it's better than amber.

Ajaxus 09-04-2005 02:13 PM

well on these there isnt any amber til i put the turn signal on :D

DrFabulous 09-04-2005 02:17 PM

Yea, I know what ya mean. I just meant amber as in stock. I wouldn't like the white on my car, however. I'd get an overlay right away. Anyways, looks good.

:erika: Yes, I do have a learning disability. I can't learn to deal with stupid people.

So :chillpill the fock out and either buy the lights or shut up. We don't need to hear anymore about how you deal with sellers on Ebay, it's really not making a difference.

To everyone that bought a set of these lights... Congrats. They look great!

Twisted_Reality 09-04-2005 04:49 PM

Congrats Ajaxus, they look good on green car.

maybe black overlays?

02andahalfgt 09-04-2005 06:58 PM

^ No, not on a green car. The whole point of the overlays is to be the same color anyway.

DrFabulous 09-04-2005 07:03 PM

Yea, having overlays that are a different color looks odd. It's an odd shape and too big of a spot to have "accent" colors.

On another note, I've been thinking of putting about 1" of blue on the top of my headlight, kind of eyebrow look. Anyone have a thought on that? It would take some work to get a good curve to match the headlight, but it would be different.

02andahalfgt 09-04-2005 07:05 PM

^ I don't remember who's done it, but it looks good if it's just a thin accent line.

DrFabulous 09-04-2005 07:17 PM

Hmm..... fun.

MSJHWT 09-04-2005 08:00 PM

They look good Ajaxus, definetly considering them now that I've seen them on green :)
I think your pin stripe helps a lot with the look too, makes it smooth there.
Congrats!

Grand_Damn 09-04-2005 08:04 PM

seeing next months my B-day...i'll ask if my girl will buy it for me (she asked me what i want)...i would buy it myself, but i bought me my rims for me (along with the drop that i'll do too)

Yea, getting the curve to match the headlight is a PITA. This is what I'm currently working on, which I probably wouldnt of done if I didn't start it the week before these headlights came out. I'm hoping to have the other headlight done this week. Tinted using the rockblocker tint, and 13 red led's in the bottom of each headlight.
