from what i hear from others that have them or already ordered them, the people whom are selling thse are major asses. just want to warn people. my bf called them up about the rainbow look and the people haven said a word to him.

so if no one hears from them about a group buy, then keep calling and bug them enough :) well thats what i would do.

or we can beg pfyc to make them and screw these a$$holes...

I think there are at least 2 users on GAOC that have rainbow problems. I would also like to see a pic of these on a silver GA.

the gaoc pics dont have the rainbow effect. it sounds like its only viewable at certain angles in certain lighting. also sounds like you wouldnt notice it unless you were looking for it.

well, now that i got two parking tickets dropped, i can definitely afford these assuming its $200 shipped, if they gouge on the $45 shipping and try to raise it then im down for having someone else pick them up and ship them for me from the cali area. damn price gougers. grrrrrrrrrrr! (btw, remind them that their price gouging can be reflected in feedback on ebay.. :D )

i just emailed PCP to see if they will try to get them in stock for about ~$200 shipped.

Just got mine today. They look HOT on a white car! I don't even have my front bumper on yet but I can tell they're going to look good. The whole inside isn't black, only certain parts like the bottom and between the reflectors, which is why they don't look really dark from certain angles. They look much better in person though. I plan on doing a little customization to them in the future too. Got a pair of angel eyes waiting to go in. :thumbs: Then I need to do something with the tails. Either going to get TYC gunmetal's to match the dark headlights, or take apart the RKsports I have and paint the chrome white to match the body. Haven't decided yet.

if youre going to take apart the aftermarket ones to install angel eyes, why not just keep the stockers, take them apart, and paint them yourself and save $$?
(unless you dont have stockers at all, judging by the "i dont have my bumper on" comment)

So you guys don't think that these headlights will go with unmodified stock tailights?

why wouldnt they?

the stock tails are naturaly dark in appearance so it should be alright, probably better than your stock heads look with the tails. thats the combo im doing, till i can afford some new tails.

btw, im assuming there is a how to around here on swapping out headlights, because last i checked these come without instructions and this will be my first time working with headlights. i assume its not that hard, seems everybody can do it in a few hours or less. just wanting to make sure there's somethin on here i can go by...so i guess ill go search now.

This will certainly make the job easier for me, not sure if it will help you guys tho. Some I think have done this before..

swapping out the headlights is easy, last time i did it I spent 45 minutes with a flashlight.
-take off the shroud
- pull up on the two tabs
- pull out all the bulbs except main headlight
- put all the bulbs in the new housing
- Now, putting the headlight back in and having it aimed right is the hard part... my pass side always goes back in right, but my drivers side never wants to.


Now, this group buy... could someone PM me when a final price is set? Put me in as tentitive, $200 shipped or less and I'll probably go for it.

well, it seems that one little plastic part likes to break on people, so thats one thing im not looking forward to.

Main reason I got these is for the clear lenses. That and they look better than stock, and I'll be driving around with them the way they are for a while before I get a chance to do anything with them. I have enough other projects going on the car right now. Headlight modification can wait until winter.

A handful of us have tried and they only offered the $5 thing to me for whoever orders them and mentions "GrandAmGT.com." Read my post earlier in this thread.

BTW, they don't offer sponsorships either.

Bleh...read my earlier posts. We already covered this. They offered $5 to everyone and then jacked the prices up over $200. Bunch of ****in' schmucks... :hump:

Just show them the list of 15+ people and then take it away if they say no, even threaten to boycott them if they don't. The last thing they want is the word going out everywhere NOT to buy these.

umm, if anybody who bought these would kindly leave appropriate feedback...these guys like having good feedback if they want more sales. if their feedback comes out saying they are price gouging mongrels, they might think twice...maybe..

oh well no offense but im really not about to go and look for it through like 16 pages :)
LukeD: they wont care if we boycott them. they'll sill sell them no matter what. they are a VERY hot item, obviously. they saw how hot it was, how many peopel wanted them and the m*****f******s jacked up the price. i only know of one person that got them for nearly half of what they were asking in the beginning on EBay

LOl also.....if i lived near the factory or store or wahtever. i would PERSONALLY go there and buy them then BITCH at them about them jacking up the price and how they made everyone ****ed off and blah blah blah. just to get my anger out . but thats just me

Maybe Jeremy can give them a little ad on this site for a month or so if they give us a group buy?


Yeah it sucks, they are located in California and so am I but it costs $45 for them to get to me!
