I thought that, too, but wasn't sure. So technically, the Colts have to go 14-0 to match it and 15-0 to beat it. I know no one will really look at it that way if they lose the last game of the season (doubt it), but whatever.

I just need the Jags, Chargers and Chiefs to start losing so the Steelers can nab a Wild Card. lol

Cormaster 12-05-2005 04:31 PM

The colts probably won't go undefeated. All they have to do is beat jacksonville next week, and they win their division, the round 1 bye week, and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. I doubt they are going to be playing starters after that.

looks like its going to come to a 13-3... maybe 13 -2. After all Arizona isn't even much of a match for their backup's!

Metallman56 12-05-2005 04:45 PM

hmmm. . . let me start out first by saying out of 15 games so far i called 12. i missed 3/4 big divsional matchups. damn. they were all hard games to call. and they were all close.

now lets talk about the colts. they will probley play thier starter until about half time after the jags game, and then pull them. so its up to the colts o to make sure they have like a 60 point lead before half time. you never know. maybe they wont pull their starters after all. who knows. who cares? if they do not they will not be beat. its that simple.

oh about the steelers sorry man doesnt look like thier going to make the postseason. it could happen but i dont think it will. good luck though!

Is anyone else enjoying the Eagles self-destrution more than I am?
If I were Demter or McMahon I'd ask for a security detail to my car, these fans are ****ED.
LOL They just pulled the punt team off because of the fans booing so loud.

eric99gt 12-05-2005 08:35 PM

terrible performance. But hey at least the redskins suck too lol. They'll be back near the top next year. Have to get a new DE and a go to wide receiver.

99GApunk 12-05-2005 08:41 PM

and QB

MSJHWT 12-05-2005 08:43 PM

Honestly if you had McNuggett you'd be in it, I'm not going to say winning, but be in it, you're stuffing Alexander, his TDs have been pansy 2-3 yd runs, and thier reciving core has been incosintant. I don't think they'd have the same INTs from McNuggett, so take 21 off thier score right there, and without the 3 and outs maybe 7 more?

PS We beat Seattle and you ;)

Metallman56 12-05-2005 09:00 PM

99gapunk your saying that you think someone will beat the colts? come on man, think about it. they are by far the best team in the nfl.
also did anyone hear chad johnson's remarks? he said the bengles WILL BE in the super bowl. perhapes he forgot the road goes directly through indy. i personally think the guy is an a*s but thats just me.
the skins need the same thing the bears need. an o.

We need a legit #2 WR.

Metallman56 12-05-2005 09:06 PM

maybe t.o??

No, for several reasons.

1.) He wouldn't be content being a #2 to Moss.
2.) Gibbs contract he's also the President and has final say over Personel, he wouldn't have him.
3.) He wouldn't get this far.
4.) We wouldn't throw enough money at him, our cap numbers arn't pretty. Patton was to step up, but either he just sucks or his knee really was a problem.

Although his presence and knowledge of a divisional oppent would be nice, his cancerous nature isn't worth it.

Metallman56 12-05-2005 09:13 PM

he wouldnt be a #2 rec
gibbs wants anther super bowl
why not
only a one year contract

cancer only spreads if you let it.

MSJHWT 12-05-2005 09:22 PM

What I ment by he wouldn't get this far is someone else with snatch him up fairly quickly.

Let me try to find a link for you, Gibbs pretty much said as long as he was there TO wouldn't see a Redskins uniform.

I honestly think he'll see another 3-4 yr incentive laced contract from a team.

thats exactly what i'm saying.

the best team doesnt always win.
and cincinatti can definitely beat the colts in the playoffs if they prepare well enough, i dont have a doubt in my mind about that, will it happen? who knows. but i give them a lot more than a chance in hell that most people do

Cormaster 12-06-2005 04:40 AM

Cincinatti is good...but honestly if our defense shows up this time, and our offense is fired up, I think the playoff game won't be nearly as close. Cincinatti plays alot like us, but lets keep in mind that Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson got to where they were by studying Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison.
