Snow + Football = Amazing! I'd rather have no chance at a bowl and see a snow game at least once a year than a roof and a bowl and no snow. |
Metallman, I definitely agree with you. Two teams will be going up against each other that have amazing defenses and still have to prove themselves on offense. We'll see though...it'll be a great game and I'm looking forward to watching it. I'm still thinking the Steelers will pull it out... lol

Sorry, made me laugh. lol Thats why I like having a retractable roof. Play in the snow, then let the pansies come in for the Superbowl and get all warm. |

The Steelers nearly had that game. Too many mistakes here and there and too few by the Bengals. The last two games for the Steelers have been teams with very high powered offenses and decent defenses - the complete opposite of what the Black and Gold are. This week pits two teams with stellar defenses and decent offenses against each other. That's why I think it'll be a good game to watch. |
for the record i took the bears this week, but basically because of the spread, they steelers are favored by 5 and a half in my pool
|
i took da bears with no spread.
|
Well, well. Vikings are now within one game of da Bears. The Jan 1st game is looking bigger and better every day.
The Johnson-lead Vikes are 6-0. :D |
:iconfused I thought Chicago had a good defense?

hmmm looks like Urlacher got jacked up...I think the bus left a tread mark on his face

wow, what hostility, I was just saying it was a nail biter and they just pulled it out. I didn't even watch the game just saw OT on Yahoo!s GameChannel.
Another typical NY fan lol. Edit: Oh and the Eagles without 1/2 thier starting roster are any better than the cards? |
sorry didnt mean it as hostility, just proving some points :)

he has a knee sprain, he was jumping up and down on the sidelines near the end, im guessing he will be ok

what can i say the bears didnt show up today. the d looked like sh*t the entire first half, and the o finally got somthing started late in the 4th. it was a good game though. you win some you loose some. atleast it was played in the snow! like real men. but the bears were not the only ones that looked like sh*t today. what about the broncos and chargers? oh and where was chad johnson and his 40 point game? and how about those colts?

it was actually good for the bengals, showed they can grind one out and still come out on top. i can't beleive how terrible jake delhomme has been for carolina. and a big win by miami, who would have thunk it? well since the dolphins won, the pats didn't clinch, but i think it means they can with a win next saturday, which will be the biggest tailgating game of the year and wooo for having tickets :) sidenote: thanks to the sunday night football crew for ruining my football watching and making me never want to watch games on sunday nights again. they aparently dont watch the same game and think they always have the right decisions... so why dont they all coach? focknuts |
Wow, what an amazing day of football. So many weird and unexpected things happened. First and foremost, the Steelers beating the Bears. NEVER thought it would be like that. The Steelers are a really good poor weather team, and you're right Metallman, it's a crapload more fun to watch in the snow. Anyways, the Bears have won 8 in a row before today. They just had a bad game and the Steelers capitalized for a huge win. The Bears will be back and it will be a fight to the end with the Vikes.
How about the Bengals almost losing to the Browns??? Can't say I saw that one coming, either. Besides the fact that KC and San Diego both lost to give the Steelers the upper hand in the Wild Card race, if Cincy would have lost, that would have been incredible. Also, the Colts looked a little squeemish towards the end of their game. They allowed the Jags to come back from a 26-3 deficit to get pretty close. But even then, they pulled out the win. They're 13-0. They're still the best team in the league. Lastly, I'm still going with the Seahawks to go to the Super Bowl in the NFC. The two teams they've played in the last six days aren't very good, but they still outscored them 83-3. Pretty impressive. This is turning out to be a dogfight getting down to the end of the regular season. Three more weeks and so many possibilities. I love football. lol |
