Like was said before... it was 10 years ago and I don't remember much else of that game... I was only 15 when it happened.
If the Colts lose in the playoffs what will I do? Just keep on rooting for them like I've done my whole life. But I don't think that's gonna happen. This is the year for the Colts. The road to the Superbowl is through Indianapolis. That's all I have to say. |

no one knows that more than a boston sports fan |
Sorry, math was never really my strong point. lol
And I do remember the uncalled pass interference from the game. But anyways, it was a decade ago, so I'm not worried about it. This year should be really fun to see... |
Yeah, I can't wait for the playoffs to start.
|
The Colts are going to choke like no tommorrow. I call your most of your season luck (however there was a few good games), if you play a team in the playoffs that has good offensive and defensive and can show up to the game and play, they will give the Colts a nice run for their money.
I would like to see wussy boy Peyton cry, he's such a sorry looser anyways. |
^^ Wow. Bold words for your fifth post.
I agree that there are many teams that can give the Colts a game, but calling Indy's season "luck" is extremely ridiculous. They have the most prolific offense in the league and the fourth best defense. I wouldn't call that luck. They haven't played the hardest of schedules, but look at who they have beaten: Jacksonville twice, New England, Cincy, Pittsburgh...all extremely formidable teams. They really have had nothing to play for in these last three games. Plus, they've played San Diego and Seattle which the Chargers were fighting to make the playoffs and the Seahawks were playing for home field advantage. The Colts didn't lose by much in those two games, either. I'm one of the biggest Steelers fans you'll ever meet. I don't like the Colts as much as the next guy, but you have to respect what they've done and the players that are on the team. Calling the best quarterback in the game a "wussy boy" and a "sorry loser" is wrong. I'd very much like to hear your reasoning behind thinking that. |
^^ :applause: , I agree with you 100%. Im not a Colts fan but you cant call there season luck. Manning is on the way to becoming on of the best QB ever, the rest of the team is just down right good.

What a punk.... you don't know anything..... this is all I hear from you :erika: |
Thank you Ian and Tank for stating the obvious. :)
|
i think the colts will choke too... why?
because i picked them at the beginning of the season and i never win anything edit: except this board's fantasy football league :) |
I don't think they'll go to the SB, but I don't think thier season is "luck" either, they're a hell of a good team, but obviously they arn't unbeatable.
|
Well I hope you're all wrong about them.... after being a fan for 20 years....... it would just suck if they didn't get to the SB.
|
Indy is lucky alright...the only "luck" they have (if you can call it that), is having edgerin james, peyton manning, marvin harrison, brandon stokley, reggie wayne, dallas clark, etc.. etc.. etc.. Yea...that's not luck. That is alot of talent! It seems like all these guys play as a team instead of for themselves. The colts have the best team this year HANDS DOWN. Now any team can win on sunday...but for the colts to flop in the playoffs would be a REAL let down for the team. With all the recent events, I wouldn't mind seeing dungy get that superbowl ring. He's gone through alot and shown he's a class act. Out of the 6 teams going into the playoffs...I only see 3 even possibly making it to the SB...colts, then Steelers, then Pats. Steelers dont have that wild card yet...but they are playing REALLY good football (yea it's against crappy teams, but they're whooping them like they're supposed to!). The Pats are sneaking up on people and are ALWAYS a dangerous team in the playoffs. The colts...well you read what I had to say about them. Here's to a good month of playoffs and some awesome football!!!
|
06CobaltSS, this might be a good time for you to dig a hole and jump in. lol
In all honesty, I have a feeling this year's playoffs are going to be like 2000 when the Ravens won it all coming from the Wildcard spot. I'm not saying that will happen again, but I just have a sneaking suspicion that something crazy will happen. If the Steelers don't win it all, I honestly would like to see Indy get it simply because of Dungy. The guy has paid his dues and has gone through things in the past few years that no human being ever should have to endure. And he's STILL COACHING. Cheers to the awesome football, John. It's good to see the Steelers fanbase stretches even into New Mexico... lol |

the colts will be in the super bowl! they almost cant not be. if that makes sense. they are the best team in the nfl right now and to be honsest i think this one will be for dungy. go colts!
GO BEARS!! |
yea, you really have to live here to understand the passion the city has for the steelers, im sure its like this in other places too tho
|
the steelers usually remind me of the patriots, and the way most of the fans used to be, the new stadium has changed some of that but its still great
the one thing i hate more than anything about the steelers is the goddamn terrible towel BS... its a yellow towel whoopdiesh.it lol |

the thing that i like about steeler fans, and other certain teams fans is that when they go into a visiting stadium, they wear their colors with pride and are loud and sometimes too loud... just like we are up here when we travel lol
i have a lot of respect for that, even if i hate the teams they route for. sidenote. the flyers fans that travel from philly usually take it to a whole obnoxious level... hate flyers fans lol |
