its easier to have a high % when you throw about 15 times. i can probably throw 7 complete passes in a game (not really), like i said. its games like that that expose the steelers weakness to teams that can stop the run. i know ben does all he has to, which is good for the team, but i was just rating him as a Qb and nothing more
the steelers scare me just as much as any other team pretty much. but im looking at like madden overall score type view here and 21 and 3 in the regular season is good and fine, but the postseason record is all that matters. another key very well could be kicking, lots of playoff games could be down to the wire. gotta have that clutch field goal in ya |

Yea...I know you as a pats fan know more then anybody about a clutch field goal lol....patriots won 3 superbowls by a total of 9 points lol...Vinitarie (sp?) should've been the MVP in all of those superbowls imho |
dont really need to pass much when your running game is working just fine, and when your special teams returns a punt for a TD and another back to the lions 40....just run the ball for the easy points
|
^^ thats why I think that Pit has a good of a chance as any because of there many diffrent weapons on O
|
um,yeah, but i don't think ya'll are giving much credit to my boys. 5 in a row over good teams just like back in the old days under gibbs. we got portis running it strong and that in turn opening up moss for the deep ball ( which he's been doing ALL year ) and the D strepping up to make the big plays to win ball games ( much like we did last night ). they are all playing with heart and desire that was lacking before gibbs showed up.
and as far as tampa goes, that 2 point conversion is what they won by, so they ain't no powerhouse either. hail to the redskins baby !! |
actually i dont really get to see anything that the redskins have done all year, but i have seen Moss recently, and he is titties...they are good from what i see on paper, but i never have gotten to watch a game
|
redskins have no chance. The Eagles were the better team that whole game except for the retarded turnovers. If they can't beat a depleted team like the Eagles by more than turnovers when they should be playing their best game in order to make the playoffs, I don't see them making it too far.
|
Nah Im not taken nothing away rom the Skins, the running game wont stand up agains Tampas D., Moss deep will be what kills them if anything. The test will be sorry a** Sims against the Skins

Look at NY three weeks ago. Same Philly team, 23-26 NYG in OT, and they're NFC East Champs. Missing Carlos Rogers, then Sean Springs and Ade Jihmo hurt an already depleted DB core. Christian Morton was our DB for 1/2 of the game yesterday. Who the hell has ever heard of Morton? If the DBs arn't healthy for next week that Tampa game could turn out ugly. Last time it was a shootout, and we were without Sean Taylor and Sean Springs. Taylors back, but Springs/Rogers/Jihmo are questionable. However, let's not forget the GIFT PI for 7 points, (remember, 3rd down. the one after Springs got hurt, stood in one place, got ran into by Brown and they flagged him? Giving a new set of downs) and it's tied at the half. We lost the KC, Tampa game and the Denver game by turnovers, so should I call up Denver and say they shouldn't be in the playoffs? How about Tampa Bay? Oh, lets not forget, we've beaten the 1, 2, and 3 seeds in the NFC ;) |

Clinton Portis 23 Rush, 144 yds 1 TD Ladell Betts 7 rush, 26 yds 0 TD Moss only had 79 yds on 4 receptions. Unfortunately Simms looked like Phil Simms in the last meeting. Cadillac wasn't involved in the last meeting very much (think he was coming off an injury). This was the story last time TB Turnovers 1 Wash points off 0 Wash turnovers 4 TB points off 15 |
Here are my full pics:
NFC Wilcards: NYG over Carolina Wash over Tampa NFC Divisional Playoffs Seattle over Wash (I'd like to put us in here, but @ Seattle...I just think it'd be TOO homer of me) Bears over NYG NFC Championship Seattle over Bears AFC Wildcard: NE over Jax Pitt over Cincy AFC Divisional NE over Denver Indy over Pitt AFC Champ: NE over Indy SuperBowl Seattle over NE |

I don't think he made excuses...he said all of our losses were tough losses that could've gone either way save one. Oh, and Alsott never got over the goal-line, kthxbye. |
