lol i have no problem looking like a jackass.
ive been posting in the sports section for a while now. and i dont think ive ever run my mouth like this and made such predictions. i dont know what made me do it now but its fun to change it up lol

bryan1727 01-07-2006 09:11 PM

Easy win for the Pats tonight, 28-3

Braves299 01-07-2006 10:28 PM

Lets go Skins!

IanGT99 01-07-2006 11:20 PM

lol Yeah, it is cool to mix it up a little. 15 hours to game time...

MSJHWT 01-08-2006 01:21 AM

Man, this definetly is the best time for football -- all the emotion.

Can't wait till the games tomorrow.

Cormaster 01-08-2006 04:50 AM

Definitly alot emotion. Its funny to think tommorrow with the Cincy and Pitsburgh game, The winner doesn't matter mufch to me. I'd like to see Cincy win, but I really think Pitsburgh is going to win it. Whoever looses, the whole town will be feeling the sting as their hopes and dreams are crushed untill next year. The winner's city will be celebrating as hope still stays alive! in a league with 32 teams, there can only be one winner in the end. Next week, I'm either giong to be depressed beyond beleif or happy as hell... However after the past season for Indianapolis, I really don't know how to deal with the Colts crashing and burning next week... I really want them to win!

99GApunk 01-08-2006 01:14 PM

i was at the game last night and it was incredible, the whole stadium was really into it. which is good to see after people were saying we werent taking jacksonville seriously.

the place was so loud. i was lucky enough to have my boss give me a chance to sit with him right under madden and michaels in the booth, about 25 rows from the field :).

for 200 bucks i got great seats, all i can eat, all i can drink (happened to be a lot and too much) and a pats win. love it

and the giants look terrible right now. love that too

99GApunk 01-08-2006 04:57 PM

nice trick play

99GApunk 01-08-2006 05:08 PM

to me it looks like kitna got real nervous after they lost the lead, he was afraid to throw anything that was slightly covered... you cant play scared

so my prediction was wrong, but who would have thought there would be no palmer?

i had no idea cincy's defensive backs were that bad. and they got no pressure most of the game so far.

oh well, if pitt goes on to win, and then beats indy, and the pats beat denver.... another home playoff game for us lol

Cormaster 01-08-2006 05:21 PM

yeah right Pitsburgh beat indy... they can't handle the noise of the crowd!

MSJHWT 01-08-2006 05:41 PM

Pitt figured out how to win....take out Carson Palmer and therefore Chad Johnson!

Indy doesn't pipe in noise here... the RCA Dome is just loud! If Pitsburgh can't handle it, maybe they should join the NBA or something!

They probably did enhance the sound, probably not the reason they won, but come on, the league basically said "Eh, we're not going to look into it at all", and Indy said well, the leauges not going to charge us, so we're not going to explain the microphones.

Quote:

Yesterday, Colts spokesman Craig Kelley declined to address the issue of why there were so many microphones atop poles situated around the RCA Dome.

"We stick by our statement and we're moving on," Kelley said. "Too much has been made that never existed. People can draw their own conclusion, and the burden of proof is not on us. We're clean as far as the league office is concerned."
If there was a legitimate reason for them don't you think they'd say something other than "We don't pipe in crowd noise", and make sure that thier season didn't have a taint to it HAD it gone 16-0?

Regardless I doubt this'll be an issue next weekend and it'll be a good game of football.

Cormaster 01-09-2006 12:23 AM

should be a good game... and the Fully rested and healthy Colts should prevail...

But I have to say today I was rooting on the Bengals for many reasons. Primarily because I hate pitsburgh... I have family around that area, but I really don't like the team at all... them and their fans an their "terrible towels". Not to mention they screwed us out of a superbowl 10 years ago! And I know a lot of it is the rivalry between the colts fans and the Pitsburgh fans in my family. I also wanted Cincy to win to guarentee that we play new england... paybacks a B***!

Anyway it should be a good game, Expect to hear lots of "manning to harrison TOUCHDOWN and of course "Rothlisberger SACKED!"

edit: if it was that loud wouldn't it of affected the colts ability to play as well?

GrahamKracka 01-09-2006 01:47 AM

when you have 60k people screaming thier lungs out inside a enclosed dome....it tends to be really loud

no it wouldnt have effected the colts as well, because the fans tend to be quiet while the offense is working, plus they would have turned off the mics if that is the actual case which it seems like it may be, why else are there mics?

no mics in denver for the pats this week, its just plain loud there

Even in his moment of despair, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis tried to paint a better picture in light of the circumstances. Palmer blew out his knee. Chris Henry suffered a knee injury. The Bengals fell apart in the second half.

"It's unfortunate," Lewis said. "We're not going to sit here and baby and cry like their quarterback did."

have fun watchin the game at home

Cormaster 01-09-2006 11:31 AM

I really don't believe the colts piped in noise here... Nor do I believe they used "illegal hits" to beat the worthless Tennesee Titans... When any team starts winning that much, accusations start to fly... oh yeah thats right there's also the "pass interference" BS from week 2 against the Jaguars... that receiver had no chance of catching that ball, so it wasn't pass interference.

So anyway when we beat pitsburgh next week, what excuse will everyone come up with?
