Hey, you people coming from the west or southwest....get a big jar, open it up in your driveway, let the warm air into the jar, close it up, and bring it to the meet. If alot of people do this, we may be able to get a nice heat wave going. |
you are SUCH a retard. lol

Holy crap guys, what a day. Pictures coming soon.
Noon: Alex gets over with a full list of things that need to be done. We get the car jacked up, have to make a couple stops at Autozone today for a hand-driven fluid pump. Got the car raised up, removed the the intercooler, drained the engine oil and replaced with german Castrol. Drained the transmission and replaced oil. Then came the rear differential... First off, the drain plug was impossible to break loose. And I couldn't really help much because i'm very very much in pain (had a pretty serious workout this past week, my leg and arm muscles are weak as hell). Finally got it to break loose, drained the fluid. Pumped the fluid back in with the pump. Then Alex went to re-install the drain plug and re-install the Temperature sensor plug..and the thing snaps off into the rear-differential case. Well, let me rephrase that, it screwed all the way in and is flush with the case, so the diff isn't leaking, however the sensor is completely sheared off. We contacted all the Subaru dealerships in the area and no one is open tomorrow for service, and the part is special order only. Contacted Subaru of Schaumburg IL and they are open from 8-3p.m. If need be, the car might be going to the shop there if we find a leak on the way there guys, so we'll be staying in touch on our way there. Pictures to come of our eventful day. And the weather is FREAKING INSANE. I had both our cars parked on my driveway and it started hailing like crazy!!! Me and Alex bolted out to our cars and stuffed them into the garage as best as possible, no time to make sure if they'll fit or not. Luckily they did but its a very tight fit with all the junk we have in the garage. |
dude **** today
so uhhh....the end result is??
We're still down for going. We'll find out more tomorrow when we check the car again just to make sure.
ya it's like 50 now with rain and 40 mph winds. good stuff. It's just a front moving through. It wont rain tomorrow. Sucks to hear about the cars though. I wouldve freaked too considering my car has been hailed on twice before.
well, i'm really happy to hear that you guys are still going. I hope the cars are alright. :)
Yeah the cars seem okay so far. I don't notice anything so far. Alex is just clay-barring now, the rain cut out big time and it dried up like nothing ever happened. Michigan weather insane..
