hahaha I know, I just think it's funny. Only other thing we need is a list of EVERYONE's phone number... if you are willing to share it. Copy and paste, adding your own... if you can't handle it, don't come to the meet. lol

Call me whatever you want.... I'm going to wear a name tag that says "FABULOUS" really big.... hahahha

I'll make a sign for my car, too. Make it look like I'm entered in a car show or something, with all my mods and everything. lol

UNCTYPE-S 03-29-2006 03:39 PM

I like flamingos

FastSteve 03-29-2006 04:05 PM

 Damn it. I don't think I am going to have my Z for the meet. Son of a :bleep:

lone_wolf025 03-29-2006 04:21 PM

All of you crack me up, but I like the gasket idea lol. For what its worth I'll post my number as well, even though I'll probably be one of the latest to show up. Dumb Q though how long does everyone plan on sticking around at Busse, at least those who aren't going clubbing...if that's still on.

laxjax13 03-29-2006 04:41 PM

yo jon u got any mods on your car, looks like your a few minutes away from me.

SilverEcstasy 03-29-2006 07:50 PM

This might sound petty but is the park paved or dirt roads?

Busse Woods is paved. Don't blame you for worrying about that. Gravel roads aren't nice to cars. I wonder how the General Lee stayed so nice looking for the Duke boys. lol

SilverEcstasy 03-29-2006 08:10 PM

Okay cool. I just hate when people suggest a park to go to especially a car related event and the whole park is dirt roads, sorta pointless.

Yea I get what you mean. Are you bringing that GTO by the way?

SilverEcstasy 03-29-2006 08:14 PM

Absolutely! Spent 8 hours today detailing. The car had never been claybarred AT ALL by the dealer and there was TONS of rail dust that wasn't coming out. However I did the best I could. Here's some pictures of the day from my camera phone, not really a whole lot, but just some preparation pictures.

Washed, clay-barred, waxed, rain-x'd windows, waxed rims, polished exhaust

Alex cruising on the freeway the other day!

FastSteve 03-29-2006 08:17 PM

Cool! Cant wait to see the Goat. I got to drive an 04 and they sure are nice cars. The 05's with another 50 horse just got to be sweet.

SilverEcstasy 03-29-2006 08:18 PM

It definitely is a hell of a car. Hit 145 mph on the freeway the other day in no time. Has to be one of the most comfortable cars i've ever driven in, and still manages to hang onto corners rather decently, even with all the weight throwing about in the rear end. It definitely doesn't handle like an STi, but it holds its own.

No nothing yet unfortunately. :crying: Actually I just got the thing two weeks ago so I haven't even decided how far past a CAI and exhaust I'm going to go. Its one of those what can I afford to do vs. what I want to do...

ViperGTSR 03-29-2006 08:39 PM

psh, worried about dirt...i LIVE FOR dirt!!

RALLY FTW!

Ajaxus 03-29-2006 08:39 PM

be careful, once you start modding it becomes an addiction...

lone_wolf025 03-29-2006 09:13 PM

I'm already addicted to taking stuff apart and putting it back together...I have been ever since I was a little kid. But considering that this is my first car thats in MY name and is actually a CAR and not my previous lemon blazer...its a receipe for disaster!

Kalvin97GAGT 03-29-2006 10:34 PM

Ha i be there, hope to see some old school folk, i dont think imma bring the ga i bring my new toy

SilverEcstasy 03-29-2006 10:41 PM

FastSteve 03-30-2006 05:53 AM

Not that 50 is terrible, but ain't this a b*tch. Today 67, Friday 58 and Satruday 50. The high is going to be about 17 degrees lower Saturday then today. That 67 sure would have been nice for Saturday. Oh well. At least their not calling for 20 degrees and snow, knock knock on the desk.

Metallman56 03-30-2006 06:24 AM

after winter 50 is like a heat wave. i will take it.

GTgoddess 03-30-2006 06:42 AM

I think, we should all be able to take the day off of course today due to high temperatures.

SilverEcstasy 03-30-2006 07:47 AM

I feel sorry for you guys! I'm on vacation from March 28th to April 5th. Had over 130 vacation hours and I had to use some of them. Spent all day detailing the exterior on the car. Now today is time for the inside. I'm so sore its not even funny.

Metallman56 03-30-2006 07:54 AM

when you get done, come down here and detail mine please. that would be awesome. but on a positive note i am off tomarrow, to go get a sh*t load of accessories for my alarm put on. but its suppost to be raining. lucky me.

yeah yeah yeah. :boxing:

SilverEcstasy 03-30-2006 07:59 AM

lol I hope no one gets offended if I don't say a word to them for about 30 minutes after I get there.

A couple emotions will be running through my head: 1) Man this is so cool, finally on a vacation away from home, pretty decent weather, and I've got my ca.........2) WTF.........my car was spotless when we left.....omg........car wash...need to find a car wash.....

Seriously though, i'll probably spend about a half an hour detailing the complete car when I get there. Appearance is everything! Took me 8 hours yesturday to claybar and wax. There was a TON of crap in the paint.

Speaking of car washes, any one know of any close by DIY car washes? I'm bringing a bucket and soap. I plan on handwashing foh real yo
