Um, like I said I have some other things to do at the same time while things are torn apart and I just don't have time to do it all. ;) I'm back to work full time right now, 45+ hrs a week. I'll be lucky to get the throttle plate installed in time so I can even drive the car.

Coupe, $40 sound ok? If so I'll throw them in the trunk with the other stuff I'm bringing.

Consider them sold!

xxbackhillxx 04-17-2006 09:44 PM

Just realized I won't be making it. School is coming to an end and these next two weeks are key, so count me out.

coupe 04-18-2006 04:59 AM

Damn Tom that blows

H.O. Driver 04-18-2006 07:25 AM

Racing and Beer > School Get your priorities straight man ;) O'well, we'll have to just make do without ya man.

iceman 04-18-2006 07:28 AM

I might be jumping on the bandwagon as well... :(

Whats the matter, your liver scared it can't hang with the men? O'well, can't win them all I guess.

iceman 04-18-2006 08:16 AM

No... these turbo GA guys are slow with the parts lol

xxbackhillxx 04-18-2006 08:19 AM

translation: You guys alone aren't cool enough for me to make the trip and neither are your cars.

iceman 04-18-2006 08:20 AM

I just hung out with Tim like 2 months ago lol

xxbackhillxx 04-18-2006 08:21 AM

I thought I saw you some where, lol "why do I hear a GA with SLP coming?" lol

coupe 04-18-2006 08:51 AM

Yeah this is about the time everyone starts bailing on us.

iceman 04-18-2006 09:40 AM

It's not my fault.. I'm just the pit crew. Maybe it's a good thing as your gas is expensive as balls compared to here lol

Well, my parts are here:

http://groomlakelabs.com/?q=gallery&...578&g2_page=12

Problem is, I am waiting on a ring filer and a timing set to move forward with the build. If any of you read over on 60degreev6, the cloyes double roller timing set just will not work. I have been sending emails back and forth with RollMaster, but I am going with a Dynagear OEM replacement for now.

AaronGTR 04-18-2006 05:57 PM

Didn't I read somewhere there on 60v6 that the cloyes wasn't really any strong than the stock timing set? Thought it was in the thread on timing chains. Anyway, not much option right now other than maybe cryo treat so the gears don't pit. Don't think it'll help with the chain stretch though. :(

Anyway, all you guys that are bailing out suck! lol (just kiddin', I know you gotta have priorities) Todd definitely has an excuse though... car's not together. Take your time man. No point in rushing things.

Schweppe23 04-19-2006 08:35 AM

Yeah been really busy here as well, i wont be making this as well. but like the saying goes all good things are worth waiting for. so looks like i'll just be patient. have fun and drink one for me :ec:

Rba007 04-19-2006 09:49 AM

I wont be there either... Work third shift the night before and the night of, so if i came id likely get lost on the way and fall asleep and smash into a tree or something.

coupe 04-19-2006 10:55 AM

Damn, dropping like fly's

Ajaxus 04-20-2006 11:14 AM

Yeah, I'd finally be part of a large crew, no offense to my Indiana pals but we're few in number.

We'd also have the opportunity to go into business detailing, ofcourse it will be a shame that I can't bring my carpet shampooer with me :(
