<SNEAK PEEK> New Pontiac Site to be launched
We've been working with GM/Pontiac over the past few months to put together a "Central Source" for Pontiac enthusiast websites where all our combined information can be accessed. The site is "officially" launching tomorrow, but we've been given the OK to let ya'll take a preview

Does this mean GAGT will eventually get shadowed and pushed out by Big Brother?
|

Yahoo? You gotta be F-in kidding me. GM can do better than that!
|
I can't see GM using Yahoo! something doesn't add up here.

I like the logo. I don't see the GM logo any where and I just see the yahoo logo.
Edit: I don't think GAGT will go out of service.... the way I see it underground pontiac is just a rss readers, what it means is that their website pulls the headlines and a small summary of the thread from another websites that have rss feed. I could get into more detail about rss feed but is a long storie. |

Did I jump to conclusions? All I said was that things didn't seem right. Thats not a conclusion by any stretch of the imagination. If GM is designing websites through Yahoo! then great, but it seems like an odd choice.

That is a very good point. I have seen Yahoo do quite a few things with Pepsi in the past, and GM does own PontiacUnderground.com

Except GM isn't floundering anymore so much ;) and neither is yahoo really. Yes, they haven't enjoyed the same success as google lately, but they were around before google and aren't going anywhere soon. I don't see either though why if it was an official GM site why they'd use yahoo, but who knows...

For some reason "Webcrawler" still gives me better search results than any of them, and yes, I am one of the oldies to this Internet thing. I've been on line for 15 years now!(Maybe 16 actually....) Keep trying the newer search engines and for some reason the links send me off to crap sales sites. Prob have a bug that is not affected by crawler, who knows. See this, I'm as off topic as GM naming their new line up the "G" series.
I don't know about you guys, but I think they really made a big mistake with that badge? |
I believe they teamed up with Yahoo to handle the signups for posting information.

Bad Ass just checked it out!!!
