Honestly, I can't say I've ever seen that many r!cers at GLD. Actually I see a lot of rather nice looking old cars more than anything.
Anywho depending on if I get the day off or not will determine whether or not I show up for Friday's daytime activities. Worst case I'll be meeting y'all at the track. |

If you're planning to be in a competition post up. To make things fair, you can enter in two of the "majors" and as many of the "bragging rights" as you want. Major (For rewards) "Cleanest" Car (clean in appearance or just not dirty) Best Sound System (we could go for volume or quality or both) Best Overall Car Best Show Mods Fastest Car ( probably good for track competition) Bragging rights Cleanest Engine bay Biggest bug on your windshield Longest Burnout Smooth as a baby's butt (could be a sub category for best paint) Best Rims Best interior mods Best bad odor Slowest Car Dirtiest Car All winners will have the option of having their pictures taken with their cars individually and/or as a group. I'll think about going... I want to do some more work on my car first (Show with a lil' Go)... other factors to consider as well. I'm a maybe at this point :p
I'll do most of the contests :D It will be neat to see how my single 15" sub compares with everyone elses stuff :D |
as for contests.. you could set some kind of bracket racing tourney up for the track and just do the calculations yourself if you're just grouped with a bunch of other people.. i know that the most of us would be 3400s but every car and level of practice at the track is different, so bracket racing is the fairest way to go..
