Sub Installation Question
Okay, maybe this is already posted, it probably is. But I couldn't find it....Anywayz....I'm purchasing a Sub&Amp, my cousin is going to install it for me, but the monsoon amp is throwing him off. He said I'll either have to buy a $100 adapter, or rewire all my speakers to my deck. This doesn't sound right to me, but I don't have any experience with this stuff. I drive a 2002 Grand Am SE....please help/lead in the right direction.

You still have the stock Head unit ?

Right now I do, but when I install the sub I'm putting in my alpine cda-9856, it's in my truck right now, but I figured I mayzwell do all that stuff at the same time.

heres an easy way to do it....first: search the first page of the audio section! then read the link: http://www.grandamgt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69082
this will bypass the monsoon amp...it just connects the speaker leads from the deck to the speaker lead coming from each individual speaker. |
