If not...well, thats too bad. Should I call mike tomorrow? Ill have the cell phone tomorrow so this shouldn't be too difficult to meet up with the group. Have the plans changed for tomorrow? teeball or bowling?

well, we had 5 grand ams and ty's truck with amber today..so same of that tomorrow. not sure on what extras we're picking up tomorrow. i've heard rumours on a few others but nothing definite.

would like to see boost and mark down here, but if they can't make it no prob. would also like to see some guys from ohio..no clue if they'll show.

we did have a pounding party tonight..between everyone who showed, friends of allen (grandamgtblk99) and my roommate and some friends..we packed the apt with a good solid party. so we'll have a good group when we hit the bar/party part of tomorrow (about the time of dinner)

as far as the sport tomorrow, leaning towards bowling instead of wiffle balls since the turnout is limited..plus side is the bowling alley has a bar so we can keep drinking. lol

you can call mike, he has my number and has a radio to reach me (i'm runnin my cobra radios on chan. 1).

I was too drunk for google last night.

As for hangover, nothin, I drank a quart of gatorade through the night to stay hydrated..killed any chance for a hangover.

But I am exhausted, yesterday was a long day, and today is gonna be badass..so Sunday I'll be wiped out, lol

AJ speaks the troooff. It took me about 1.5 hrs. to get ther (driving about 85 Though) and it was 117 miles, google maps estimated 2 hours 12 minutes.

Anyways, I had a good time at the meet even though the turnout was kind of low. Its nice being able to put names to faces and do something besides talk about cars 24/7.

Yup, I had a great time too. 60V6 meets are about that size:P My right wrist and middle finger are all sore and cramped from the bowling though. At least it doesn't bother me while I am porting:) And also a -1 for the size 10.5 shoes.

I could talk engines all day long:P

Ehh, the shoes werent THAT bad. I like my bowling shoes a little tight anyways. Nothing a few beers didnt make me forget!

I drove about 2 hours, maybe a little less. Mike drove 13+ and he didn't complain ;)

Gonna make some changes for next year..thinking of doing it during the week instead of a weekend for a few reasons..first, tuesdays are half price pitchers and live bands along with lots of hot chicks at the brewery..and second, most car shows on the coasts are weekends and it'll allow WC/EC to crash things. :)

Anyways, Jung braved my cooking tonight and had our ribs at the brewery..he can comment on that later, lol

soooooooooooooo, whats your excuse for not showin' punk! We were there from 1pm - 6pm. I can't believe you didn't come out to hang with me :( It was sunny and not a cloud in the sky, and perfect! Then you had to be too cool again and hang out in the LP :( You didn't miss much Sat. night lol. Barleycorn wasn't all that great, but apparently if you are a cop in Chicago you can get badged in everywhere haha. Ended up at Vein/Vain not sure...where my sister got her purse stolen. Then went to Redno5, then to eat, where my other sister got her truck towed :( OYE!!!!

Volleywood V-Ball Tourny, at North Beach, Chicago July 12th. Be there. We signed up to play, and then its just a huge party at the beach afterwards.

I wasn't that impressed with the ribs (in terms of the quality of meat cut/amount of meat on the bone).
But the sauce was good.

Now what I loved (even more so the next day):
Beer Bread & Beer Cheese
"A loaf of sprouted wheat & barley beer bread with a serving of beer cheese."
It was the perfect lunch break on the road with a Coke Zero ice cold.
Apparently, you can smell the beer more the next day; when it was cold.
(I got some strange looks from people walking by lol)

PS: Irish Car Bomb Cheesecake was the bomb; for a late night dessert at the motel.

Eh I know... I woke up around noon, and got back from the gym around 3.. then I went to pick my buddy up, and by the time we got back to my place it was around 4:30 and I figured that was past beach time. We had fun in LP, but my buddy ended up getting too wasted and was useless to me as a wingman. I'll try to get out to the vball tourny, but I think that day is the day I'm flying back from North Carolina ;crap
