Went to my least favorite place in the world (walmart) for things to make my dinner. Decided to show sleepy how F-body owners park.
http://i.imgur.com/mDQb6t5.png Only to come out to this asswipe. No more that 2 feet from my car. http://i.imgur.com/mf8eeNY.png Gave him a massive middle finger and tore out of the parking lot since he was sitting in the truck. Me - 0 F@ggot - 1 |

Took my wheels off today and attempted to clean them up a bit. Lots of tar specs and crap was stuck inside them, and the white was kind of stained by it all. Regular wheel cleaner wouldn't take it off, so I went over all of them with rubbing compound and a Mothers Power Cone. There was a bunch of old double sided tape in the barrels too from old wheel weights that were removed, and the centerline badges that were on the spokes were all broke and crappy looking so I scrapped those off. Took off the aluminum center caps to clean those too but I'm out of aluminum polish so they'll get put back on later.
The polish really helped the face of the wheels a lot. Brought back the bright white color. Some of the specs on them are so imbedded in the surface that even that didn't get them out though, and it's impossible to get down in all the little corners, so they aren't perfect, but much improved. Put some Black Magic tire wax on them after remounting. Car needs washed again, but it's raining outside again. :( So that will have to wait. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...psd47b1c30.jpg Had some 8mm wheel spacers I got back when I put the extended studs in too. They've been in for a couple weeks but didn't take any pics yet. You can see it behind the front wheel here. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...psce6f55bf.jpg This is how they look from the front. It's hard to tell, but they are out a noticeable amount compared to before. It's still not enough, but compared to how far in they were it's a big improvement. It really just needs a new set of wheels and tires eventually. This will have to work for now. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps41a074c9.jpg |
Without reading the post I thought a spacer stud broke off and shattered part of the wheel, it kinda looks like that in pic 2 lol

wheels look good right where they are IMO Aaron
and i park like that most everywhere, UNLESS i'm in the truck, then it's "fear me" style parking lol |

http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/r...psd1ac3d90.jpg According to the calibrated ass dyno's (and a few quick scans), this KN just kicked this particular paper filter's ass! Now as long as the old stories about oil getting on the MAF sensor are false, this is a keeper. The tubing used was slightly different for the paper unit, but it was also closer to cooler air at the fender opening. There was much more total filter area on the paper unit, but the pleats are also too bunched together to make use of the area, IMO.....we'll see how it does long-term.... http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps667e396f.jpg |
