Same thing.

is that the face of the cap, or the hole it snaps into?

I've got the same problem with mine. I want to get some of the pontiac emblem center caps from graphix werks (the vinyl bubble ones) but they are actually 1/8" larger diameter than the inside of my center caps. I could probably still make them work. Just have to use a circle template and hobby knife and trim them down a little.

I normally dont like to bad mouth companies. but, I originally asked grafwerks about making me some with "PONTIAC" around the edge, they flat out refused to even consider trying and were rather un-professional in their emails. they will only make center cap decals with the arrowhead in the middle....said they cant add the words because of some copyright or something.....but yet they have the Pontiac for the front/rear bumper indents
so I searched the web for a few hours before I found another company that was more than willing to help out and make the design I wanted. emailed them and a few days later had the first sample design. and yes these are liquidomed, although they dont call it that, they have another name for it "3D Gel Doming" anyone interested there website is immortalgraphix.com for comparison heres a pic of the stock caps that I had in my 16" chrometecs http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/at...3&d=1339460309 Picture of the final product.....pictures don't do these justice they are so dam glossy in person http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/at...4&d=1339460309 http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/at...8&d=1341547514 |
