Sucked to come back to after being in Hawaii, I'll tell you that much. This is the first winter I've actually wished I had a SUV instead of a car... the snow just keeps piling up, and my front bumper can't take much more.

Yup, I gave in and went 4 door 4x4 truck. I'm done with cars. Once I grow up and move somewhere else that is in a state of emergency when it snows, then I'll look at cars again lol

I live in suburban hell, so it's generally not too bad... but I can't even clear a curb with my front end, so the piles from snow plows end up making for an entertaining drive to say the least.

Our CR-V is a fricken mini tank, though. The AWD in that thing is pretty damn good, especially when you turn off the traction control - it's a mechanical system that diverts power to the rear wheels, so there's no computer trying to over-correct, you can just punch it and get all four wheels going. I may or may not have gotten it sideways before.
