Couple more output shots to show the highs.

Keep in mind I'm on a slightly slanted road so the cutoff looks off but trust me its straight. Also the camera doesn't capture the width of the beam, its not as narrow as it perceives in the photos.

Low Beam.

We get a few tornadoes but nothing like the central states. Of course, the six years I was in FL we never had a major hurricane either, and the area I lived in was not in the typical hurricane path and statistically had a very low chance of being hit by one.

Damn I forgot you moved back up North. I'm going to be living up around Traverse City all summer. Got a job at a small marina helping out, heading up this weekend and staying till August.

Have fun, good luck during cherry festival, it is crazy busy, you might see my old car driving around down there still.

I've been going up to Lake Leelanau every summer my whole life, so I'm pretty familiar with the ****show that is the cherry festival. Besides, I'm already at the point where sitting on the porch looking over the lake is more interesting than gimmicky vacationer crap.

That's pretty cool. It's a nice area up there. I haven't been there in years. Planning on making a trip up with the GF one of these days. A good friend of mine was a traverse county sheriff up there for about 6 years. He loved it.

Two people have recently had their Eibach springs snap on GAOC recently. Thats intriguing.

sleepyalero 05-01-2014 09:54 PM

really??? that is quite interesting.... wonder how many miles they have on them. I know I was running stock springs, struts, and mounts all the way till about 180k miles or so.

my canucks have around 20k on them.... and I installed them.... 12/28/2012

DAMN SHE WAS TALL BACK THEN

edit: might as well post an after shot too.

Anything is possible. Rocks and stuff get kicked up by the wheels and scratch the paint on the springs. Get enough exposed metal and enough miles on them, driven in winter with salt on roads etc., and eventually any spring will break. I'd be curious to see where they broke though. Did they post any pics?

TDavis 05-02-2014 09:10 AM

From Shortcuts car. I know anything can happen but I think it happened to Shortcut twice and then someone just recently, Its weird that its for Eibachs, such a reputable brand and people praise.

It happened to shortcut? How recently? Havent been on gaoc in months.

tipnitty 05-02-2014 09:21 AM

I had eibach and didn't have a problem. But the fbody community frowns upon them.

TDavis 05-02-2014 09:41 AM

Well how long did you have them on your car is the question
