Get enough exposed metal and enough miles on them, driven in winter with salt on roads etc., and eventually any spring will break. I'd be curious to see where they broke though. Did they post any pics?

The second guy had stock springs and struts, but he had 191,xxx miles listed for his car, so it's surprising they lasted that long without breaking (the sway bar snapped too).

Quick note: everything is loaded in the car ready to go to joliet (where my friend lives) to have all this over with, kinda anxious to see how its gonna look, i hope these wheels fit with no issues, btw with these extra couple hundreds lbs of weight on the rear, makes the car look lowered already lol

NikolaCop 05-02-2014 11:39 AM

Joliet is right by Tinley Park

99ga 05-02-2014 11:44 AM

Slowly saving up for rims. I wanted the MSR 045's in black with the red stripe, but nobody seems to carry them anymore :(

And I love dem retros. Easily my favorite mod to the car.

my shit sits way lower than that and i'm on semi new struts and h&r springs.

there's like nothing extra in the car except for a 70lb sub box in between the strut towers in the rear. i know the rime size is different but the overall rolling diameter should be the same as your larger rims.

Between me and tanners car (he has same suspension setup) the ga sits a tad lower then the alero for some reason.
