I dont see wht people think I dont drive the car that much lol oh well. We will be the black garage queens Idgaf!

Also tip. Looks nice. Glad the car made it safe. Atleast it was pulled by a cummins. ;) and only thing im not a fan of on that garage is that damn center pillar. I wish it was a straight up 2 car garage with one door and not 2. But thats just me. Because if it was it would be easier to pull one car in right in the center so you have plenty of room to do whatever work you wanted on the car.

Thats just me. :)

Ps need a roomate? lol jk

Oh trust me, I hate having two separate doors, but you have no idea how hard it was to find a place with central air with a garage lol. The TA mirrors only clear with about 2" on either side. But I'll make it work.

That cummins was a 5 speed and the man has been on the road for 10 days and has some 6xx,xxx miles on that truck. Props to that cummins that's for sure.

sleepyalero 01-16-2014 04:17 PM

Those are million mile motors. Lol

My brother and I hauled a full size 80's chevy Van plus full 33 foot Winabago with a 99 dodge 1 ton with a cummins, kept the speed to 55 mph because stopping was a real bitch, but when needed power on tap like you would not believe.

Passed a car hit the throttle just a bit went from 55 to 85 like nothing loaded. :applause: lol

Is your garage heated/air conditioned?

It isn't, but it seems to stay pretty consistent to the temp of the inside of the house.

sleepyalero 01-16-2014 09:18 PM

Doubt it.

Edit: yes as long as the garage door isnt left open it will hold a nice temp.

My father-in-law installed a heater in his garage last fall, and man... I was in heaven. Even when it was 0 degrees outside, you could get that garage up to around 50-60 degrees (more than enough to work on your car) in 10-15 minutes. Greatest thing ever.

tipnitty 01-16-2014 09:54 PM

I'm not going to worry about heating the garage. The temps here in OK haven't been too bad. Yeah it gets colder, but during the day it hasn't been so bad. I'm about 45 min from Texas, so it gets windy as hell during the day.

When my dad lived in Watertown SD he had a 2 car garage, not attached, he had a ok propane heater and 3 box fans, that place heated up fairly well he had that for 1 and 1/2 winters then he came across a military heater that was priced just right. It ran on several different fuels but mainly diesel. that was even better then the propane it included its own blower motor and temp sensor. You could set that thing to 70 and it would maintain it perfectly he used a 17 gallon saddle tank from a older s10 pickup and dyed diesel kept that place cozy for 4 years. He also insulated the walls/ceiling.

Then he moved and now has no garage;crap

AaronGTR 01-17-2014 08:24 AM

My parents have a 2 car attached garage with a work space. We have natural gas here and the house had a heater installed in the garage when they bought it. Already hooked up to the gas and vented out the roof and everything. Has it's own thermostat, no fumes to worry about, and natural gas is cheap... it's sweet! Keeps the garage warm all winter. They set it on about 55 and park their cars in there so the snow melts off and they are warm when they leave in the morning. Floor has a drain in it too.

H.O. Driver 01-17-2014 09:32 AM

awesome news, no new hurt marks on her? The new place looks pretty nice!

They left Missouri in ****ty weather. But the weather here isn't bad. It's been high of about 60 and no precipitation for the past week and none for the next week. But I'm glad they are safe. Need to get my TA a car cover that won't be stolen this time, since she will be in the garage.

TDavis 01-17-2014 11:09 AM

See, now you're officially pulling a sleepy, putting a car cover over your car that is in a garage lol

BTW whats with the gigantic Yamaha sign? lol

Also on a side note whats the price for rent on that home if you don't mind me asking? I'm wanting to know price ranges for houses/apartments that have atleast 1 garage, I know of this nice little place and would be ideal for me, just need a full time job.

Me and a buddy went to this calendar girl search event in st.louis one day, probably about a year ago. We got all different kinds of hammered and it was at a motor cycle dealership. We out drank nearly everyone there and that sign was on a fence in the parking lot. We thought it would be awesome to have, so we cut the ties and threw it in my car before we got a cab. Came back the next day and couldn't stop laughing that it was shoved in the front of the honda lol. Every time I see it, it makes me laugh so I hung it up.

Rent in my place is $900 a month + utilites + cable/internt. Includes, water and trash. 2 bed, 2 bath, nice kitchen, central air, fenced back yard and it's only 2 years old. I am in the nicest rental housing in town, so if you were looking in como you can find cheaper than I'm paying

sleepyalero 01-17-2014 01:40 PM

Is that a double sided house? Or do you have 3 garages?

tipnitty 01-17-2014 01:47 PM

It's a duplex.

sleepyalero 01-17-2014 01:49 PM

Your gonna piss people off with the TA

tipnitty 01-17-2014 01:55 PM

My neighbor has a challenger. So I don't think he will care. Especially when Lana gets louder this year.

sleepyalero 01-17-2014 02:33 PM

Start the car at 2 am. Thats a good way to find out if you can piss off your neighbor

tipnitty 01-17-2014 02:42 PM

When I get called in, I'll probably start it around them. But I think he also works some nights. It'll be the night he is at work as well lol

$900? Damn, dude. Even middle-unit townhouses are going $1600+/month for the newer units in my area.

My wife has already started bugging me about moving away from MN.....

Good lord man. Yeah I wouldn't want to spending that much on rent, especially by myself.

bricooper78 01-17-2014 06:45 PM

Our house was only 60K here in bumpkinville.... they're trying to choke us with taxes every year, but ya know.

Buddy's brother in law managed a home depot up in minneapolis, told my bud his house (a quarter of the yard and minus a bedroom and bathroom and laundry room of ours) would easily go for 100 up there. you guys have some insane prices up there

TDavis 01-17-2014 07:51 PM

Strongly considering buying a Fiesta ST in maybe a year or two.

Cool little car.

sleepyalero 01-17-2014 08:02 PM

Isnt there a focus st?

TDavis 01-17-2014 08:15 PM

Yes. Fiesta is much lighter and much better chassis/suspension/bang for your buck. Would make a really neat canyon/auto-x car.

Not to mention the good power and torque for a small light car, and good MPG. Every reviewer I've watched loved the car.

sleepyalero 01-17-2014 09:57 PM

Hmm...... suprised because its a ford product ;)

xUnderCoverHoBo 01-18-2014 12:36 AM

I like the fiestas actually

Very nice! Tint those windows.

mfuller 01-18-2014 07:25 AM

Looks good. I miss the green grass and dry, salt-less pavement.
