Yup, I got a couple tickets parked in front of my old house in St Paul. Gotta love it.

Pontiac_guy99 03-12-2014 09:50 PM

In eureka sd you can park in the middle of the street lol

DrFabulous 03-13-2014 01:43 PM

Took a couple shots after a gas-station car wash... its still pretty dirty, but at least there isn't a half inch of salt on it anymore.

Yay spacers! It used to sit pretty far inside the fender, especially with the drop.

Touchless washes aren't really that bad. They aren't that effective, but they aren't really hard on the car.

sleepyalero 03-13-2014 05:31 PM

He said touchless

There is no way those can scratch your car, all it does it spray the car down and put soap on it. Rinse and repeat, literally.

I took my car once through one of those this winter because my car was just plain filthy with all the snow we kept getting in a row and I didn't want to take the brush to the paint so I went through the touchless wash, did a pretty decent job for a touchless wash.

This is the progress on that's 2004 Ram that my friend bought a few weeks ago.

http://i60.tinypic.com/syqtc0.jpg

So far:

New black rims, new A/T tires, body damage has been repaired and bed has been repainted, windshield has been replaced, 6in lift with new shocks/struts, side view tower mirrors, aftermarket black housing headlights and 4500 HID's, LED lights throughout the interior and exterior, 20% tint all around, and new interior pillars.

It's coming along

I don't hate them. Certainly better than not washing the car at all.

I could be wrong but I think it's not been passed yet. Hopefully it will be passed so I can put my plate filler in!

TDavis 03-14-2014 01:28 PM

I gave a copy of it to my dad and his friend showed to a police officer or judge, cant remember which and they said it was true

03GT SilverGun 03-14-2014 03:52 PM

Unless it's already been passed it shouldn't be legal yet... A bill doesn't make it a law it's basically just a proposal.. Either way I hope it is either done or gets done 2 plates sucks!

tipnitty 03-14-2014 05:31 PM

So I took my car out and tried the brakes for real. I stood and the brake and it came to a VERY fast stop. Thankfully my tops were off or I would have hit my head. In the process I lost my plate filler. Pretty funny way to lose the plate filler lol

gudge 03-14-2014 05:48 PM

I am sick with a cold but it was 50 degrees today so of course I am going to wash my car and cruise around with the windows down :gablack2:

Yeah I did. Was easier than trying to sell it privately for an additional $500.

Plus the savings on sales tax!

Because I am absolutely the guy that immediately reports people parked like that in my building. I pay good money to get an actual dedicated parking spot down there, and if anyone thinks they can just slip their car in some random area and block other people, you deserve to have your car towed.

Not that I'm worked up about this or anything, clearly.

No and no. I was at my cousins apartment. And parked in a bay area next to his car (done it plenty of times before) no one has ever been parked there. Its un used. And they didnt like that I was there. But this was the first time I was there during working hours. Im usually there later.. park there and have never had issues. Plus this is the first time ive been warned. So idk why they said final warning. Guess ya only get one!

No but he has posted about how he parks and takes up many spaces which probably made him get that sticker. Or maybe he was in a handicap space lol

He parked somewhere that wasn't the garage? WUT??

But no, seriously, I don't get apartment complexes that have rules against non-residents parking at them..how the **** are your friends supposed to visit if they are going to get warned/towed for hanging out with you a few hours?

I've lived in places like that..it's ridiculous.

sleepyalero 03-14-2014 11:33 PM

Its is rediculous. I honestly just laughed though.
