The view from our pontoon today after we purposefully grounded it on a giant sandbar just off the island..

The USMC base is at the base of the peak on the right of the picture, which is where we picked the boat up (their marina does rentals to military personnel and their families).

Also got to see where Steven Seagal lives..fyi, I never knew he made so much money before..his house is freaking huge..lol

what about dipping the chrome trim the same gunmetal color as the rims? that might accent it better, and might even look better than just black. anything would look better than chrome now that the rims aren't shiny

itll keep the chrome but darken it a bit to blend more with the theme for the car ;)

Imo the chrome trim doesnt bother me. Id rsther pdip then paint it because id want to not destroy it by painting.

We had a snow day today. A SNOW DAY. IN FRICKEN APRIL!!!

My calender says March 31st. But yeah that is pretty ridiculous. supposed to be in the 70s here today. We did get some snow a week ago though.

Actually got up to 55 today and was sunny here. Quite a nice break from the crappy weather we've had all winter. Not sure how long it's going to last though.

Car needs a bath and a wax bad though. This winter was hard on it. It basically hasn't seen snow since like 2004, so...

I don't ever remember minnefreakinsota having tornados like that, but the last couple years, seems like they've really popped up

I live in SW Minnesota and we are in the northern part of tornado alley. We get our fare share of them. There was one day in June 2010 where 48 tornadoes touched down in one day.

Low 30s in Wisconsin today with wind so it feels pretty cold. I was outside in shorts yesterday playing basketball and polishing my exhaust tips. Today I'm walking around on campus with a jacket on with the hood up.

I can deal with 30s if there is no wind. No wind or a slight breeze and I'm fine. Surely doesn't stop me from washing my car lol

Next up is some insane tri turbo set up. two 60 trim turbos and an 80 trim. This man it truley insane lol

Hes a ford guy I see. And yeah tri turbos are nasty. I know a guy that has a tri turbo set up on a cummins. I wanna say 1500+ hp. And his younger brother has a 1000hp cummins. Haha the tri turbo cummins is NASTY. He had a youtube vid up at the track but I cant find it.

The car meets I go to people do some racing and I watched a built cummins (idk specs) line up with a new camaro SS (idk specs) from a dig. Cummins was building up boost, guy dropped his arms and MAN that cummins launched off the line and destroyed that SS as if it were standing still. Everyone was like DAMN! Hahaha bad ass truck.

Not the biggest fan either, but his truck is mean. It's one of those projects where he comes up with an idea, makes it happen, goes to a new idea. It's pretty awesome.
