99ga 05-08-2014 01:58 AM

young gun 05-08-2014 07:13 AM

StormTec sold his so you are currently the only one with them on.

99ga 05-08-2014 08:01 AM

[ChaosweaveR] 05-08-2014 08:17 AM

Those are Stormtec's old wheels? I kept wondering the whole time...

sudden_impulse 05-08-2014 08:29 AM

Same wheel, not the same set.

gudge 05-08-2014 08:58 AM

There is someone selling a set of 4 saleen wheels close to where I live. He is asking $230 OBO. I am very tempted to go get them. Would just need to save up for tires then. Which shouldn't take too long since I start working again for the summer in two weeks.

99ga 05-08-2014 09:30 AM

Yes ,same type of wheels ,but I bought minen new...
$230 is dirt cheap , also depends on the condition tho. Each rimn is around $130 new

gudge 05-08-2014 09:41 AM

They look in average or slightly below average condition in the pictures, I wouldn't say poor condition. A little curb rash on a couple of them, which I could repair later on if need be. My current stock wheels have a ton of curb rash from the previous owners, so it would still be better than what I have. For the price too it is very tempting. They are also less than 15 miles from where I live, which is always nice.

The 245/40-18 is why it looks so close to the fender. Those are taller than stock diameter by 21mm. A 245/35 or 255/35 would be a better fit. A 245 is actually perfect width for a 8-8.5" wheel. On a 9" wheel like that, I would have used a 255/35-18. That would only be 3mm taller than stock and be closer to the width of the wheel. ;)

Got some nice pics of the Accord today. I know the quality is grainy, but hey, I needed to make sure they weren't the size of Saturn.

Thanks! I've wanted a set of these since I first started noticing the new 9th gen Accords after I got mine coupe. So happy I have a set of my own.

Shade2012 05-11-2014 05:31 PM

Double post, fail.

Shade2012 05-11-2014 05:32 PM

Clean your windshield bro.

[ChaosweaveR] 05-11-2014 05:36 PM

The windscreen is mostly clean, those marks are in the glass. They're only noticeable in direct sunlight. The previous owner must have never liked replacing wiper blades when they went bad, especially when I got the car with crappy ass Anco blades that streaked like a mofo.

Would post a pic of my car, but currently on jack stands trying to figure out what the **** happened to it a few days ago.

TA down for now.

sleepyalero 05-19-2014 06:05 PM

Top lel. What happened? ??? STORY TIME STORY TIME STORY TIME

tipnitty 05-19-2014 06:11 PM

People need to secure the **** they have in the back of their trucks before they haul ass down the highway. Makes the 3rd time I've taken the car out for a weekend and something on the road nailed the car. I'm about to give up on the car and constantly leave it in the garage so other people won't damage it.

Long story short, chunk of asphalt roughly the size of softball-football ****ed my car up when I was doing 85 on the highway. Will try to diagnose the problem this weekend. It's either a bent wheel, bent/stretched stud....I don't know yet. But the car shakes like Michael J Fox is driving the car, broke at least one weld on the exhaust and will not drive in a straight line what so ever.
